having gone through a lot of trouble to make a custom thundercracker a couple months ago....... im still very excited to know ill be able to get an official hasbro thundercracker

i highly doubt that this release will even dent the botcon versions value, especially sense it was part of a set

Actually, Tracks is a repaint of Wheeljack, even though he came out first.

I for one am glad I don't have to resort to a KO to get my Thundercracker. In truth, Thundercracker and Thrust are the only Botcon figures I ever really wished to own. The rest are cool in their own right, but just not for my shelves. Until this anouncement, the only way I could afford to complete my seekers was to either buy a knockoff or repaint one of my many duplicates. I couldn't care less about most Botcon figures, but I am glad that those who have and love them have the chance to buy them.

(Okay, one other Botcon figure that would be cool is G2 Ramjet, cause I had him when I was a lot younger.)

There was a reference sheet posted a while back that clearly stated that Tracks is a re-paint of Wheeljack. I'm guessing they designed the mold for both. For some reason Tracks came first, though. I'll see if I can find the original posting for ya.
