Starscream is the best aerial fighter of the seekers and arguably even in melee. As aerial commander, and Megs second on earth, his combat prowess has to be considerable. Thundercracker is smarter than Skywarp though they may have the same level of skill. Skywarp's courage (recklessness) and teleporting prowess may make him more effective than Thundercracker more intuitive use of his sonic booms and other abilities. The core three seekers are the delfacto elite of the elites in the Decepticon air force until the onset of thriple changers and other upgraded tech. There teamwork is the work horse of the initial victories for the Decepticon empire.
The three cone heads are nearly just as tough to crack as the previous seekers mentioned. Ramjet, while on a single target, is the most dogmatic foe of to be housed in a seeker frame; his endurance makes him a credible ground combatant as well. Thrust, though the least brave of the seekers, is perfect for lightning strike, hit and runs, or other blitzkreig tactics with his ability to double his top speed. Dirge, who I think leads them, is fairly smart and a planner. The gloomy tetrajet often keeps his opponents more scared than he is and easily manipulates others too. the coneheads ground game may even be better than the core seekers air game.
Now.. Sunstorm has been labeled from Starscream clone with a reactor to the implossible legendary super sayajin seeker and oracle of Primus. I'm going to pic the middle ground. Not a clone of Starscream but has far superior fire power to the aerial commanders null rays and cluster bombs. His reactor gives him a nigh limitless energon source, though even he can not excape it's delussional effects. His skill and intelect should boarder that of Thundercracker's, while his creative zeal and fanatictical courage could surpass Dirge and Ramjet respectively. If he has a coating of electrum, to contain his energies, it could grant him some resistance to laser fire; atleast until confronted with live ammo and physical impacts. Lastly his endurance may be less than the less powerful seekers as they need not strain there frame to contain there own abilities.
I just don't see him taking down 6 seekers of equal or better skill even if he has more power. Maybe if it were only 4 or 5 on 1 the golden boy may stand a better chance. Currently, Starcream monopolizing on an opening is the most likely result. If they try to go mech to mech, Sunstorm would likely get dog piled before the deletrious effects of radiation tilts in his favor. In the air atleast 2 seekers will be reduced to slag before he's even close to stopping. Thundercracker and Thrust will likely get scrapped in most any senario.
Sunstorm really has his work cut out for him.
