I called gameworks today to check the authenticity of decepticon88's claim, and i spoke with a gameworks employee.

After i asked, he went to go check and returned and said "Yes, it's happening. It has been booked [for tomorrow]."

Who will be in attendance?

The party is free, but you must have a pass to get into the 7 pm screening at Harkins. We do have a limited amount of passes to give out at the Gameworks party.

I was there and saw 'ya first in line decepticonjon, i didn't get a chance to say hi however.

I thought the "party" was lame; but i was happy i went after all was said and done because i was able to get a movie pass too; what'd you think of the movie? I wanted to cry for good and bad reasons more times than i can count.

I forgot that Spielberg owns gameworks, so it comes as no suprise that what happened happened.

yea, i got talked into it.. but it was worth it. let's see, i got the beach ball, a bumblebee color thingy, and some stickers.. appaerntly you had to ask for the movie passes, but he just gave those too.
as i found out talking to others in line, most of the advance tickets were available online or at various locations, so going to gameworks several hours beforehand wasn't necessary.
oh well.
it was a good time.
and a good chance to drink some bev's before the movie.

yeah, i got a beachball too.

I won it in a raffle (my number was called).

I gave it to a the parents of a little girl in a stroller who had 2 little siblings, none of which appeared older than 4 years of age. I figured they could use it more than i would have. For her, it was like instant-entertainment.
