You might not be a true Tranformers fan if you don't buy the Transformers that are made for two year olds to play with.
You might not be a Transformers fan if you haven't done a Youtube search for the David Letterman "You might not be a true Transformers fan if.." top ten list, just in case there is one there, whilst ignoring the fact that a true Transformers fan already knows there is no such list...just in case one is there.
You might not be a true Transformers fan if, when one of your Transformers gets damaged, you buy a new one, but only in order to dissect it in order to get the parts to repair heal the old one, but cry for the new one, then bury it in a complex ceremony, but dig it up again because you can't bear what you've done and build a macabre shrine out of the parts to remind you forever of the evil deed you've committed.
You might not be a true Transformers fan if you haven't pulled a TF apart to see if its' individual bits look cooler than the fully assembled thing.
You might not be a true Transformers fan if you haven't used the bits from the pulled apart Transformers to build better weapons for your still intact Transformers, but argue with yourself on behalf of the bots (since thay can't argue but you're sure they would)as to who gets what new weapon.

You might not be a true Transformers fan if,
when you log on to Seibertron.com for a minute whilst you're still finishing off your morning coffee before the day gets into gear,
and there's no new news headline,
you keep staring at the screen until something happens.

OH MY GOD!! I'm not a transformers fan!!!!
To be honest, I didn't even know who she was when I saw the first movie! Heck, I didn't even learn her name until months after getting it on DVD.
Still, I saw ROTF for transforming robots, not some sucky actress. Not that it's totally a bad thing to have her in there...
Please note: If you think I may be joking, I probably am.

I want to argue that one...but I'm guilty of it. We had a big power outage last month, and when someone would explain it was because of a blown Transformer, it took all kinds of restraint not to shout out "Damn those Decepticons!"

Oh, and You might NOT be a true Transformers Fan if:
You hear someone talking about Leonard Nimoy and assume they are talking about Star Trek.

Froneyzone, although I know Nimoy voiced Galvatron in the movie I watched in the theater when I was a kid, my first thoughts of a conversation about him is Star Trek or Jewish heritage, in particular his work to educate about the Holocaust and honor the memories of those who were murdered.
I'm not seeing any humor in the bulk of your posts, sarcasm or otherwise. You can write what you want, but you should know your insults are annoying me to the point where I'm starting to think of you as "the boy who cried wolf!" You are taking yourself and Transformers way too seriously.

You don't take Transformers way too seriously (otherwise they are just toys and nothing more and you shouldn't even be on this site).

You are crying in disappointment when you heard the news that Mr. Leonard Nimoy himself just might possibly be coming out of retirement not for Star Trek but for Transformers!"

You are on this forum and you and/or your friends consider yourself a Trekkie!

You have a Starship Enterprise that you modded to somehow Transform

I completely agree with Shadowman, I am both a Trekkie and a Transformers Fan, and I was offended a lot by this! It was extremely inappropriate and ignorant of you, I mean not to flame you, but just to let you know that what you said was wrong. That is not the meaning of this thread.
Well, on with the show.
You might NOT be a Transformers fan if...
You think they should make a Leader Class Wheelie. (Well, actual size... :/)
You think that all continuities line up perfectly!
You think that Galvatron was completely sane.
You think that Jazz is not awesome. (I mean, C'mon!)
You think that "Optimus Prime" is a new kind of Prime Rib at Longhorn Steakhouse.
You think that Grimlock is a gruesome hold on someone.
That if you have a name like "Snarl" you can't have a good introduction.
You think that ROTF Arcee looked much more attractive than G1 Arcee!

Hey guys - not saying you can't like both at all. This just happens to be a TRANSFORMERS website and it seems that you three have forgotten about that. It's either that or you guys are way more passionate about Star Trek than you are about Transformers. Now, if I had posted that stuff on a Star Trek forum, then yes, I can see how it would be offensive, but golly gee whiz Beav...get a life and have some fun...or go create your own website: Star Trek and Transformers - Oh how I love thee both equally.
Now on to more humor:
You might NOT be a True Transformers Fan...if:
You only refer to your revolver has a Sixshot.
You think Shockblast is what comes after an earthquake.
Snow Cat to you is just the name of the vehicle. Either that or just a cat who lives in subarctic regions. ; )

Just because we are members of a Transformers website does not mean that we all like the Transformers above all other interests. You act like, that because this is a Transformers site, that we have to hold it to the highest regard above all other fictions. Now, while there may be others on this site who do view the Transformers as their Numero Uno, that doesn't account for everyone. Why, I'd bet that there were some really die hard Trekkies on here who also happen to be Transfans. Or even fans of other series who also still like Star Trek above the Transformers. Yet, there's nothing wrong with that. You sound as though we're all supposed hail the Transformers as THE almighty media franchise here and can't have other interests held to the same or even a higher regard.froneyzone wrote:Hey guys - not saying you can't like both at all. As for me, no, I'm not that big of a Star Trek fan to say that I like as much or even more than the Transformers. Frankly, I'm pretty much less than a casual Star Trek fan (having seen only two full movies and just a handful of TNG episodes). But I am one of those who has at least one other interest that I hold to the exact same regard as the Transformers. Two even (Digimon and Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon). And yet I'm still as big a Transformers fan as I've always been (my Exodus Vs. project should spell that out in an obvious manner).
So, please, don't look down upon those who are fans of more than one series or those who are TF fans but don't view it as the most favorite series. Everyone has different tastes and interests, and each view should be respected.

But really, if you are that way about TF fans, and ST fans, that is like saying that people that like Peanuts should never say that they like Ice Cream and vice versa. Which happens to be delicious together IMO.
And again, "In My Opinion", I have opinions, so does Shadowman, you, Sabrblade, even that guy who runs by your house every Thursday does!
So, if your opinion has something that may offend someone, keep it to yourself, unless that person you are talking to is like-minded. Seriously, heed my advice, it may prove useful.
And again, I love Metroid Games, heck, I even made a thread about a rumored upcoming game (Key word there, RUMORED), Metroid: Dread! I love Transformers, I love Pokemon, I love Metroid, I love LEGOs, I love Star Trek, I love Star Wars, I love Dinosaurs, I love Sci-Fi movies, and many more! Can you prosecute me or anyone else for that? No!
So, if you please, let the fun continue without offense to who people are and what they like.

last one just annoys me to no end!!!!!! a lot of my friends at school stopped caring about transformers when they found out megan fox was not in it.

You might NOT be a True Transformers Fan...if...
You think Megan Fox should have stayed in the Transformers industry.
You spell Transformers as Transfromers.
You want a Smiley Face Transformers Crossover.
You don't want to make your own TF movie.
You don't relate mundane things to Transformers.
You don't want to create your own Transformers series.
You don't want to go to BotCon.

You like Bayformers at all (kidding
)
You think you are satisfied with the Transformers role and screen time in the movies.
You think that Erector isn't funny.
You don't buy any of the toys.

…you hear sei- and think of Seinfeld
…your friend recommends exodus and you read the wrong one!
…you think beasties and…….I can’t say any more
…you are turned on by the words “Beast Wars”

"Sei" also means "star", "planet", "celestial object" etc. in Japanese. So, the full way of saying "Planet Cybertron" in Japanese would be "Seibātoronsei".godzillabot wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Except that the "Sei-" in Seinfeld is pronounced like "sigh", and the "Sei-" in Seibertron is pronounced "say" (think "Sabertron")godzillabot wrote:…you hear sei- and think of Seinfeld
