So...I'm not a true Transformers fan because I have neither the money nor the inclination to buy a toy TWICE, simply so one can stay in the box and never be played with?

You still argue about being a true fan.
Think you are a true fan.
Believe there is such thing as a true fan.
Your still reading this.
Take me seriously about that last one.

Not anymore. Ever since the Movie line, Japan has gradually began moving over to using American names now. Convoy is now "Optimus Prime" (Oputimasu Puraimu), Cybertrons are now "Autobots" (Ōtobotto), Destrons are now "Decepticons" (Diseputikon), and so on and so forth. It's rare nowadays for TakaraTomy to use their old terms again.Shadowman wrote:froneyzone wrote:you actually think the planet Seibertron is spelled that way.
In Japan, yes. In Japan, Autobots are Cybertrons, Decepticons are Destrons, Cybertron (The planet) is Seibertron, Optimus Prime is Convoy, and you'll never see me using any of those terms ever. Nothing against, Japan, really, I love that country, but I am going to use the American terms for all time.

My point still stands. A few years ago, I'd be entirely correct. Unfortunately, my time machine isn't finished yet, still working on the "Relative Dimensions In Space" aspect.
froneyzone wrote:Anywho, to help with your "Relative Dimensions" issue, I have a modified DeLorean DMC-12 sitting in my garage - maybe I can ship you over the flux capacitor ...the transmission is shot (I blew it out trying to go back and help Bay write a better story for RoTF) haha. Plus, I need new tires on the thing...so I was just going to sell it for parts anyway. ; )
