Hello everyone, I'm new to the boards so be gentle.
Were any fans lucky enough to attend the UK Press Screening last friday in London's Leicester Square? Me and my mate were the first in line.
Unfortunatley, Paramount UK have placed a 'review embargo' on the film until July 1st. Even though I don't represent any media publication I'm not sure how much I can say.
The lobby was covered in Transformers posters and there were gorgeous girls walking around in figure hugging T Shirts that had "Big F**king Robots Are Coming" written on them. Michael Bay was there as were Shia Lebouf, Megan Fox (that girl is flawless), Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel and Producers Tom DeSanto and Lorenzo di Bonoventura. It was quite an experience.
Any fans at the UK Press Screening?

dont know about seibs but furman was there. he's put up a bit of a review of the movie on his blog.
dont expect much as as mentioned he's bound by the gagging clause but he said he liked it with one or two reservations.
as an action movie he says it unmissable.

I'm with Furman on that.
With the exception of a few minor niggles the film was excellent for what it was.
The main thing people keep forgetting is it has to appeal to everyone. If they made a film for just the fans it wouldn't make a profit. They had to make the film accessible to everyone and keep the fans happy at the same time and for me they found the perfect balance.

I was there too, man I really hate myself for bringing my phone, when the girls with the *big F**king robots are here shirts* came out asking for those without phones I smacked myself, and my friend also smacked me one too XD
That atmosphere there was quite amazing, I loved when everyone applauded at the Prime and bonecrusher scene.
I posted a review, if anyone's interested.
