Any ideas to add friction to TR Galvatron's feet?

Weapon: Twin Swords

I find it difficult to stand TR Galvatron on a smooth surface in part due to the not tight enough hips. I think the other part is the feet are light and hollow with nothing to grip the surface.

I'm thinking maybe I could stick something to the underside of the post the feet are plugged into, or maybe stick something along the inner edge of the feet themselves. But what could I stick in either place that would provide the friction I need to more easily stand the figure?

Any ideas?

just tighten the hip joints.
