I've always been a huge fan of CyKill. I had him as a kid and loved him in the animation. His small part getting slaughtered by Megatron in gladiator thing kinda bugged me. To me the character has unending potential to be a bad ass character. Hell, they could even throw in some homages to GoBots by having him lead a third faction comprised of former members of the Autobots and Decepticons called the Renegades.

What I'm really asking is, am I the only CyKill fan out there and do you think he should be integrated further into Transformers?

I'd really like this to not turn into a "gobots suck" thread, so please stay out of the conversation if you have nothing intelligent to add.

I think that Go-bots as a whole should be written into TF's. Takara tryed to start the ball rolling when they released the miscoloured Minibots bookbox, thou they didn't use the names they intended to use, the Fan club did, first by using them in the club fiction and then by making Bug Bite a main character in 'Games of Deception'

At the end of 'G.O.D.' Bug Bite clearly states that more were on there way to the Classics universe that was distroying the Go-Bots universe.

After the Movie when Universe will hopefully return, I hope they give us some more 're-booted' Go-bot characters. With the new legends they can easily do some repaints for a number of Go-bots, and even if its just repaints of a seeker for Leader-1 and Oil Slick for Cy-Kill, it would be easy to throw out a couple figures.

Thou I would rather see a Jetfire repaint for Leader-1 than another Seeker.

I saw an amazing mod figure somewhere of Oilslick into Cy-kill. If he was put into Animated somehow, I would buy that figure. Heck, Cy-Kill would have been perfect to use instead of Oilslick.

i totally see that working. i still watch my old rock lords video. go-bots aren't as bad as everyne makes them out to be.

I was part of the Go-bots sux crowd for a long time, but that's due to back at X-mas '85. In the spring of 85 right when things were at their hottest, My Dad, tired of putting up with his Boss (Nice guy but an awful leader over half the office staff working there before he transfered in quit under his tenure.) quit, and walked out.

Needless to say my christmas list was almost completely Transformers and yet the only items I got were 4 Go-bots. I'm old enough and smart enough to understand noe that my parents did do their best concidering the lack of funds at that point (He statred his own company stortly after quiting which is still in operation today) but as a kid where my friends all had great new trasformers and I had a handful of go-bots it didn't seem fair. Thus I started hating go-bots just because they weren't TF's.

Now I can look back at the francise and say that yes there are some good characters, and some of the figures were pretty decent. Hasbro clearly was the winner of transforming boys toys conflict of the 80's but just like M.A.S.K. is part of Joe now, it only makes sence for more Go-bots to be revamped.

I love the updated design he has in the TF comics, I don't know him as a character but I do like his design.

I always liked Cy'kill. I did like his G1 revamp in Megatron:Origin. As such, I'd like to see a toy based on that rather than Oilslick but that's because i'm not a fan of Oilslick or any other helmet less TF like Armada Scavenger. Just prefer the traditional G1 aesthetic.

Like the idea of Classics Jetfire as Leader One.

Be nice to see Turbo and for some reason I can see Cybertron Ransack as a G1-Scooter.

Of course, I'd also like to see the G2 Gobots/Spychangers updated.

Yes. I am a fan of gobots, the toys were nice, and the cartoon was good, especially "Invasion from the 21st level". Seems, from experience, that the gobot haters are often the older folks, and that younger fans like gobots.

Anyhow, does anyone have some images of Cy-Kill from the G1 comics some have mentioned here?

Would like to see a Crasher spotlight too, since we know she was part of Megatron's cadre at the beginning of the war (Megatron: Origins), and though we haven't seen her since, we never saw her die AFAIK, so it must be assumed that she is still functioning.

IDW's female TFs need some exploration in general though - what's up with Arcee being insane, while Elita-1 is perfectly fine? What exactly was Jhiaxus's experiment?

I had a few Go-Bots and as a kid I never really differntiated them too much from Transformers...I mean, I KNEW they weren't Transformers but they were still robots that turned into **** so that was cool with me...

And I had Cy-Kill and I loved him
