I am very perplexed by this one.. Usually you can see where a story might and may go for a Movie series or trilogy. But in this case I'm stumped..

will the Transformers sequel delve more into the Cybertronian War?

Will the transformers go back into hiding, and in effect become robots in disguise once again?

Will there be another hunt for the Allspark?

I still like my idea, of the Ark crashing in the desert, which is cloaked, but contains Teletran One, which if fallen into the Decepticon's hands could in effect be used like Skynet to control the Earths defenses and computers all over the world..and the Autobots and Decepticons are in a race to find it before the Sector 7 guys, and Decepticons get their fingers on it..

But I see how the first film kinda follows a G-1 story, which I was elated to see how the Final climactic Battle comes to a head on top of Hoover Dam..which reminds me of the Sherman Dam conflict in the 3 part G-1 Pilot!!! Great stuff!!!
I seriously doubt we will see any thing like Cybertron being brought to Earth's orbit and so forth..

I would like to see the sequel incorporate the old style, of the transformers remain hidden but show up in remote areas and have battles far from the Governments eyes, like in the old series, they seemed to be hidden from Government radar, except for like episodes where they called on the Autobots for help with Megatron..but I'm just not sure as to where a new script would go..

Judging from Alex and Roberto's first choices in the story lines, I would assume the sequel will have more characters, more action, and more of a Back story with alot of intrigue and Decepticon spy antics..


What I loved about the whole G-1 era, was the special attention to Spy work that would be shown in every episode, it was like a 3 way cold war, between Earth Military forces, Autobots and Decepticons, with Soundwave leading the pack..

I just hope they keep that core intact for the sequel..that James bond aspect is a cool quality to have for this type of movie..

So judging by this first movie and the knowledge you have so far, where do you see the sequel going? And lets be realistic about the approach, since thats where the writers want to keep this Universe..What's the logical and exciting next step for this Movie Franchise to go?
