That is interesting and fits in with the origin of my name, Siegfried. In the German myth of the treasure of the Nibelungen it is said that the "old" belief the Norse Gods dyed with Siegfried the hero of the myth. And guess what the story takes place during the time the Christians came to Germany. Interesting indeed.
But I still think all religious “persons” like Jesus are nothing but fictional characters. But itS’ best to leave that out of this debate.

Great. The conversation went from fantasy battles to religion. How does this keep hapening?

Oh, and yeah, Superman-boy prime traveled through alternate universes several times, meaning he should be at least partiall composed or radiating anti-matter, Which in the DC multiverse, I might add, does not explode when coming in contact with matter, Except for that one time in Infinite Crisis, but I think that was just an error, since it never happened anywhere else.

Any Psychic?. That would Be: Grod, Phoenix, Dark Phoenix. Proffesor X,Dr Iwo Android. I'd figure that Magneto, Dark Seid, Supermen could all deal Dr.Manhattan.And Lex Luthor, could have found a way to do so also, as well as Batman with enough prep time.

Magneto would be useless since any metal tossed at Manhattan would become, say, water, or become non-magnetic as soon as Magneto would try to grab it.

Darkseid and Superman wouldn't have a chance, Manhattan would end up deconstructing them at the molecular level. Luthor and Batman would fare the same. (Ozymandias couldn't beat Manhattan and he knew everything John was capable of)

Phoenix and AMAZO would probably be able to hold their own, actually. They could probably fight him to a stand-still but I doubt anyone would actually win that fight.

You forget that Magnetos primary power is not metal manipulation but the control of magnetic fields.....but I still dont think that would help him much.

Ultraverse's Deathwish could probably take him. If anything could decay or stop then he could destroy it. (make metal rust, disrupt magic, turn light to darkness, make people decay)

He only real weakness is that he had to touch whatever he needed to affect.

I agree with you, sto_vo_kor, this makes me wonder how would Hulk or Juggernaut on his full Support from Cyttorak fare against Dr. Manhattan.Captain Atom could hold his own. That makes me wonder, how would Atom Ant hold his ground. lol. :grin:

Actaully Spawn Might have a chance if he still had his god powers. He gave them up after recreating earth with everyone remember the war.

ANy Cosmic level entity could handle Dr. Manhattan atleast to a stand still, Good ole Ozy did win against Manhattan just not in a physical manner he used Manhattan as a puppet.

for a while he was as powerful as god and satan. He gave up his powers to lock both god and satan out of earth after the reckoning happened... hasn't worked so well.
