My work is sending on another business trip. However, this time it's 3 days in Georgia and 3 days in Alabama (for reference, I'm Californian).
1) Should I be ecstatic, pensive, or panicked?
2) what's the weather going to be like?
3) Should I bother wearing thermal clothing or can I expect pretty much every body part to end up where it shouldn't?

I've always been curious about sci-fi shows where they show an entire civilization pretty much paved over as if it were a basement of a building. Examples include Futurama (the remains of Old New York)and Transformers (Beast machines and Cybertron both went this route). So I'm wondering, at what point does a civilization decide to simply build a roof over its city and start over?

When a city realizes that, when viewed from a certain angle, it forms a horribly obscene image, that then start over from scratch.

The Happy Locust wrote:The weekend approaches. For most, that means sleep. Lots of sleep. For me it means getting up at 4 in the morning to catch a 4 hour flight that lands 6 hours later (time zones and all) to grab a car and drive another hour just to reach the place I'll be working at for the next four days. That being said, how would you rate my expected level of jetlag and sleep deprivation?
a: Exhausted
b: Narcoleptic
c: Dimensia-ridden.
d: Schizophrenic
e: Fatalistically apathetic
