I not an answerteer, but I feel as though I may be able to shed some light on the situation.

BBR suffers from being a noob to forums and therefore can't handle the power of making topics. He must therefore make up his own topics based on whatever bits and pieces of information he can gather from third party sources and create a topic from there. This leads to incorrect topics and subjects which cause many to angrily beat their head against the wall.

It is also possible that they might want to create a thread with another topic so they may be able to indirectly tell you what they think about another topic.
