I didn't catch it, (Wouldn't you know it, I turned to the episode AFTER that part had ended) but it's the Simpsons, they've never had really complex art, ever, so it can only be expected that the designs wouldn't be perfect.

So when people say "Spread the wealth" that means communism? News to me. I had always assumed it meant helping those who have no money.

I'm all for helping those who don't have as much, but only if they make an effort to help themselves first Shadowman. I'm tired of the "gimme, gimme, I'm entitled" attitude that Americans are starting to adopt.

I've had to work for everything in my life and yes I was helped along the way, but only when I could'nt do it alone. I don't see why others can't do the same.

EDIT: Or are you talking about an imagined sect that you are using as a strawman? Despite the fact that welfare really isn't all that much, and still keeps a family just barely above poverty level.

The disabled and those who have a genuine reason for not being able to work are not who I'm talking about. I'm talking about those who are more than capable of working and getting a job, but would rather just have the government take care of them.

Actually, I do know of some people who are like that. I know the entire population is'nt like that, but there are always those select few who will abuse something just because they can.

I've decided I'm going to wait for now and see what the future holds. I want to see what Obama does and I'm hoping he'll surprise me.

He's already had two attempts on his life. I don't know why people think that killing the guy will solve a problem that might not exist. Just let the guy serve his time in office now that he's won. I might not be a fan of Obama, but I would never go as low as to make an attempt on his life. That's just stupid.

I'm happy. I DID NOT WANT PALLIN IN THE OFFICE. Not after she showed herself to be a complete dimwit. Obama has at least gone to law school so he's gotta be smart. And since he's the first black prez there's going to be a big standard to set. That and I hated McCain's supporters who said that the US was a christian nation and hated obama because he wasn't christian.

No. I would have liked to. Just goes to show, you can't win without experience. Coincidentally, after everyone questioned how much experience Obama had, Palin was picked to be VP, with even less experience than Obama. And that's about the last time I heard them criticizing him on that.
