The modesty was so weak there I almost cried.

I had wondered what happened to that fourm.

Seeing Ryan didn't want to continue with it, do you feel it is worth running for the long run by it's self? or will this just be a vanity project to run for now?

Considering it doesn't cost it's impeccably handsome and talented creator(s)/owner(s) anything, it could go forever.

Why am I sick?

Does God hate me because I finally got sick for the first time in like 3 years, and it's in the busiest semester of my life?

I've been sick too. My Doctor put me on Zithromax about a week ago.

God doesn't hate you. Without trials there is no growth. If it makes you feel better, I crashed and burned on my Bio exam thanks to being sick.

So I'm finally going to Botcon this year. I currently have $600. How much more do I need so I can not only horde ROTF figures, but also find some cool dealer room stuff?

Why is BIO such a frikkin hard course?

-It' tough, but on enemies, especially bosses, who are weak against Bio, Bio3 can work wonders. I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy lately.

I thought as much on Botcon. Couldn't get the Thursday class so I guess that gives me more funds for the dealer room.

I should have seen the bio joke coming from a mile away. Which FF are you playing?

Also, is it weird that I think "Ah My Goddess" is a pretty decent anime?

Right now, 8, but in the later parts of 7, the Bio spells were always a huge help in boss fights, assuming the boss was vunerable to poison.

I saw an episode, and didn't care for it. But it's got a fanbase so it must have some appeal. (And I have a pretty decent idea of what kind...)

I really enjoy Bio, but my professor is making life suck. You've had professors like that, correct?

Well, it's a whole lot better than Sailor Moon and the plots actually have some originality to it. I don't obsess over it like some anime fans on this board so I guess I'm okay. I can see where the Tenchi anime got its inspiration though.

I saw a few episodes. I thought it was a 5/10. okay to watch but there's better stuff out there. Just a typical 'magical girlfriend' anime.

The "Oh My Goddess" Manga has been around since 1988. While Tenchi had it'a OVA released earlier, "Oh My Goddess" was around before Tenchi.

The "Ah My Goddess" OVA is from what I'm told, a retelling of the first manga issues. I don't read manga, so I can't confirm that, but the OVA did seem like a summary of sorts.

While it is true that the Manga started in 1988, and that the first OVAs were taken from stories from the first few volumes, it still remains that Goddess is a romantic comedy where Belldandy and Kenichi are (for the most part) a set couple.

Tenchi Muyo is a sci-fi/action/harem based story. Sure, many fans have in their heads who Tenchi should be paired but after 3 series (only counting the main OVA storys) he is still not soully connected to any of the girls, unless you take the GXP route and say he's going to take multiple wives.

So sorry I am still not seeing the inspiration you see. What am I missing?

More of a loose base. The 1 guy living with several women who for the most part make life hard for said guy is pretty much a base for both series. While Keichi and Belldandy are a set couple he still has to deal with whatever trouble the other women and Goddesses of the series get him into. While it's not a harem comedy I think whoever created the Tenchi series was a Goddess fan.

Tenchi wasn't the main character of GXP and it wasn't him who took multiple wives. It was some guy who looked like him. I don't know all the specifics of GXP because I didn't like the first couple episodes.

GXP was Seina, who is a distant relation of Tenchi. I only mentioned GXP because it does take place in the same timeline as the Tenchi OVA's

Now seeing i need to ask another question for this post to count...
