Clones I mean.

In Black Rodimus's bio it says he is one out of a group clones of young up and coming Autobot commanders.

Who are the others?

I do believe the others were the black repaint minibots

japan loves black repaints. theres been black versions of many transformers, usualy sold as ehobby exclusives these days

ahhhh i didnt realise there was a background for him, i knew of the figure though, hmmmm dunno about which other ones are clones though, are we talking all the e hobby repaints or which particular repaints?

There were a big amount of black repaints of popular characters, mostly exclusives but some are Lucky Draw. Only a handfull of them were outfitted with a bio, and they weren't always depicted as clones. In fact, the only black clones I know of are:

- Black Hot Rodimus
- Black Lioconvoy
- A-Nemesis Prime / STD Scourge

The rest of the black repaints were just that, black versions of the original characters.

I'm not talking about just black repaints.

It says that the Decepticon's cloned the top young Autobot commanders.

It might be that they are only mentioned in the bio, and that no figures exist of these other clones. STD Scourge? do I want to know?

STD stands for "Standard" in this case (aka "Deluxe"). It's from the name "STD Convoy", the Japanese name of Supercon Optimus Prime aka Bendy Prime. I'm well aware of the other meaning, mind you

well, the black e-hobby and JAFCON repaints could also be part of the series. With them including:

Hot Rod
Optimus Prime
Windcharger
Brawn
Cliffjumper
Bumblebee
Magnificus (maybe)

really, i should really watch that episode, i tried to but the singing voices....... uuurrggh.

ok just watched the first few mins on you tube and lo and behold there he is.

though in my defence, devastator is shown beside soundwave and the same size, all before merging, so what im trying to say is, maybe the animation guys werent exactly checking there work.

Yeah, aside from being the most annoying episode ever, it's ROUGHT with animation errors. If Brawn isn't dead, then your hearing certainly will be after that episode.

I've watched it twice, the second time was just to see if it was as bad as I remembered. It was.

Assuming we're just talking speculation and not actual toys?

I'd say Grimlock, Prowl, Ultra Magnus, Springer, Bumblebee, Blaster, and Jazz are all possibilities.

Gunrunner could qualify. Before he had his pretender shell he was up an coming and almost as wreckless as Hotrod.
