This may become a circular v.s. as a friend pointed out a few other marvel fights to me but I think Cap is going down once the mutant gets up close and personel.

Wolverine would defeat Caps.

Wolverine if the fight goes on for a while.

I think this could go either way. It mainly depends on what happens first: Wolvie getting his claws into cap or Captian red white and blue drawers knocking Wolvie out with a bash to the head with his sheild

Yeah well ........ doubtfull if they would fight one another. Back during World War 2 they were on the missions together, but if they did, I'd say Wolverine

It isn't a question of who wins. It's a question of what limbs Capt. America looses first.

I'ld have to agree given there history and mutual respect for each other. I think there was atleast two occasions were they did fight on opposing sides but i don't remember if there paths actually crossed at those times.

hmm... Seeing Cap's physical standing as peak human he only has so many abilities that could be above the canadian can opener (isn't he french though?) Strength, Speed, Site and maybe a few years of experience over the weapon-x soldier. The best I see for him is a distance attack with the sheild. a metal disk traveling at over 95 mph has gotta hurt. Stevo can even boast enough stamina to not tire for the duration of the fight, but i see the fight ending in under an hour so...

Logan may be sluggish compared to Cap, having a weighted skeleton will due that, but his senses and reflexes are rather sharp. Even if Cap is stronger than him, still debatable the weighted attacks make up for any possible losses. The end of the day Wolvi has a knife at a proverbial gun fight but he can take a bullet.

The Super soldier just can't take the knife. Ultimate Cap might pull a win though given his mindset and gun.

Though it seems Marvel would portray the starspangled soldier as more than Logan's match. Even going as far for him to think as much in his own comic

Captain America takes him down, as he has done a few times in the comcis, iirc. Cap is stronger and faster than Logan and more experienced. Ultimate Cap takes them both down without breaking a sweat.

Wolverine

Interesting factoid on the experience:

1. Captain America spent most of his life in a icecube.
2. Logan is old enough to be Cap's ancestor.

And Logan can't remember most of his lifetime, so his experience shrinks pretty drastically. Cap has also, IMO, fought a far wider variety of foes than Wolverine has, giving him a more well rounded battle experience.

Cap has beat Wolverine before

Cap has an unfeasibly large chest due to bad artists. Wolvie can't cut through it. Cap wins.
