Yea... where is Dead Metal when you need him?
Have no fear Dead Metal's here

Here's the thing though, they're not stealing from Hasbro. Hasbro does not currently have a Classics Sixshot on offering, it (the original Hexatron) does also not replicate an existing Hasbro design. It's close to Sixshot, but far enough removed to still be concidered a separate thing. This is essentially like buying an unrelated robot toy to fill a space in your collection.
It would be a different thing though with something like their HOS figures (which they seem to have let die by now), which are all based on existing designs owned by Hasbro.
What we're mostly complaining about here is that the company originally let it look like they would be doing original work, but now it turns out all they do is steal work from other fans and then claim them as their own.
MMC has been poring money and work into this thing for at least two years now. And it's not like the KO will be drastically cheaper, just look at the KO Classics Seekers or that Art Feather KO Bumblebee.
When I saw that silhouette That had Motormaster,Sixshot & Overlord.
I assumed this 3rd party was creating more weapons & different parts to accompany the existing toys. Like creating all the accessories for overlord that the Generation one toy had. Perhaps more accurate guns for Sixshot. Maybe a better sword, gun & combiner pieces for Menasor.
That's what we all thought and now it turns out we where mislead and are disappointed.
And since we're going down this path again:

I mean I just found this thread, and it's from the time I wasn't even on this site from the time I was taking a break from all this. And while reading through it, I was convinced I've read the thread before. The same people, make the same arguments, with the same analogues.
If it weren't for the facts that there are a handful of, lets say "original" posts and that it's about KO Scorponok, I would have thought I've gone crazy and never left here.
These threads are always the same, the thread warns us that something big is getting KOed, the early posts can be summed up as "F**k", then some jackass applauds this news and cheers like it's f**king Batman beating up the Joker and saving innocents, then someone posts how this news totally ruins everything forever, which in turn pisses of the ones who seem to hate Hasbro and Takara and seem to only collect KOs because HasTak are assholes due to ebay prices. And then it all degrades into the same tiered old debate of why KOs are bad mkay, and why KOs are good mkay, with all the same points being brought up and debated the exact same way by the exact same people.
