Welcome to the General Discussion area where just about anything goes! This area is designed to discuss all matters and does not necessarily have to be Transformers related. Please keep topics relevant.

Agreed.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Could the creature shown be one of those little beasties creatures that come off the larger creature that we heard about in the rundown of Cloverfield?

Someone here said that they saw a sneak preview of Cloverfield.

This person said that the creature is close to this.

Their bite is also quite nasty; you start to bleed until it's uncontrollable, then you literally explode.

Huh...you bleed until it's uncontrollable, then you explode.

Yeah, something about that doesn't make, much, if any, sense.

If what he said was accurate, it seems like some kind of anime finishing move. Assloads more blood gushing out than humanly possible, then an explosion for good measure.

I dunno, I'm still worried the film won't live up to it's hype, that it'll end up being Godzilla 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Hopefully I'll be wrong.

Though the monster, if thats what it looks like, looks pretty good.

Agreed.

That model was from some like video game designer's website, can't find the link where it debunked it, but its definetly not that.

I've seen all of the drawings from people that went to the selected openings, its looking like the 4 arm thing is definetly happening, and the monster is HUGE from what I've read.

The reviews are coming in at Rotten Tomatoes. Usually late critic screenings aren't a good thing, but it could be because of the secrecy involved. As of right now, the rating is 57%. Same that Transformers ended up with. I guess you either like this kind of movie, or you don't. Me, I love monster movies, so chances are I'll like it. As long as it's not Dragon Wars.

That is a pretty good review, thanks for posting it.
It answers some questions about if we see the monster or not.

I can't wait.

There are now 24 reviews up at Rotten Tomatoes, and the movie is now fresh! It has a 71% now. I feared it would stay rotten. What sucks is I will probably have to wait to see the movie.

But still no real leaks of the monster's face..
I am betting that will change tomorrow or tonight since most theaters are showing the movie at 12:01.

No, most critics on that site try not to put spoilers in their reviews. I'm going to avoid a real pic of the monster til I can see it myself....maybe.

Just finished seeing it.

It was better than I expected. Nothing really jump worthy. But several "what the hell are you doing, keep running you @#$%ing idiots" moments.

I won't ruin anything, but if you get motion sick, the handycam/shakycam style will probably stir it up a bit. I don't normally get motion sick, but this even churned my stomach a bit.

Edit: Oh yeah. Star Trek trailer = badass

:BOT: I saw it and thought it was awesome.

Don't want to give anything away but it was a fun movie going experience. It's like a rollercoaster and surprisingly touching at times.

Everyone in the theater was into the movie. When the movie ends, there was 10 seconds of dead silence... and then the audience were breathing again. Trust me, you want to see this in theaters! :CON:
