I've read of people cutting themselves or breaking the parts. They do require patience, the ability to follow instructions, a little intuition, being comfortable with working with tools and having some experience with model kits wouldn't hurt. So yeah I get where people might be turned off by these types of things.Burn wrote:Because I've seen other people sharing their frustrations at putting those sets together.carytheone wrote:Not sure why the twisted grin, those sets are very fun, satisfying and just look plan awesome when you finish.
The final product may look great, but the journey there seems to be hell.
Any time, and chrome all da wayCobotron wrote:Thanks for the link to temptation Curl. If I go it's shiny chrome all the way.
Don't feel too bad. I still have the Millennium Falcon and the ship from Mass Effect to start. I have a half finished gundam kit and I just picked up a still boxed sprue kit on clearance.itscramtastic wrote:I still haven't put together my Megatron Metal Earth yet, and I bought that last year!!

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

I think he's implying you're fatter than me.![]()
Ohhhh body. Watch Covenant. I have mixed feelings, but it certainly isn't bad. In order to bridge the gap between it and Promethius, you really need the Bluray special features. Whatever you're lost on, I can help yabodrock wrote:LOL
Loved GotG2 -- I didn't think it could be more fun than the first movie!

Baby GROOT, way too much baby Groot. It was like Baby Groot the Starlord origin story staring baby Groot: Drax is super oblivious edition. I came into to see some team shenanigans and they immediately split them up, beat me over the head with family themes, then Pac-Man happened. Mary Poppins Y'all and the soundtrack were the only thing I liked. It just seemed like it was trying too hard and forced. Overall I felt like it was a cheap cash grab trying to cast the widest net as possible to put the lightning of the first movie back in the bottle.SureShot18 wrote:What didn't you like about GOTG2, Cary? I for one loved it, and I didn't even go into it that excited for the movie. You aren't the only one I've heard say they didn't like it so I'm just curious as to why.

I would like to give it one more chance though.

It's not the figures that compel you, it's the Force. Feel it flowing through you.carytheone wrote:Them SW figures are oddly compelling, like I'm drawn to play with them.
