spongebobs skill seems to rely very heavily on the recipe for the patty, where as remy is just really good at cooking. if the rolls were reversed i can see remy easily cooking krabby pattys, but i cant see spongebob working at a top french restaurant. i havent seen enough spongebob to really know for sure, but i think remy wins.

In one episode Spongebob turned the krusty Krab into a fine cuisine restaurant all by himself in about 15 seconds. He messed up when he was asked his name but the potential is there.

In another episode he entered a cooking contest vs. Neptune and won.

I agree, Spongebob has the potential. Maybe if they pick a different cuisine like Italian or Chinese, that would plave them even.

but seriously, back to the question at hand...

remi would obviously win for obvious reasons,

A. remi is a cook at heart and can cook anything he wants

b. anyone can cook a crabby pattie, they just have to follow the recipe,

c. remi could cook a krabby pattie without the recipe cuz he would taste one and then know how to make it

d. spongebob is moderately mentally retarded

I don'T know who Patton Oswalt is. Even after looking at his profile at IMDB.com. But Tom Kenny, who voiced Spongebob, also voices animated Starscream, The Batman's Penguin and more cartoons character than I could list here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0444786/

But this has nothing to do with voice acting.

Patton Oswalt is a comedian. A very funny comedian.

Ironically, Patton Oswalt voiced a character on Spongebob, a frycook who Spongebob admitted was better than him.

When you'll eat a burger with brie cheese, hand picked salad, hand made mayonaise, quality bread, tasty tomatoes and fresh beef cooked just right you'll know what I mean. Fine cuisine isn't necessarily healty either.
