I ran into a Transformers Guide on the site of Takara:

and this "Dimension Guide" -if I understand right- got my attention:

I think I got a few of the continuitys, but a lot of them not, could somebody help translating the chart?

Wow, some of those I never heard of... Micromasters and Japanese G2?

G1 comics and G2 comics mean the japanese mangas, I presume...

Actually, the American and UK Marvel comics lines are what are most widely considered to be the original G1/G2 comics lines.
Broader audiences reached with the English Language, front-to-back versions worldwide. Of course, if I'm wrong we will both likely read about it in the next post or two.
