Not every body wants a cabbage patch kid sized figure. For me MP scale crosses the "man doll" borderline. But to each their own. If you want it, why not just pre-order at BBTS ?

Dammit, I almost just pulled the trigger. This is a whole lotta bot for the money. It looks fantastic. While the price is high, it is very, very reasonable for this size figure, IMO...

Considering the size of it, the price isn't all that high. I just got Quake Wave from BBTS for $10 more and Kronos is roughly 4" taller!

The smaller scale TF toys have there limits. There is no way HasTak can cram more parts,more pieces. stronger materials,superior engineering. more complex transformation,higher sculpt,budget money into a compact TF toy like minicons,legends,commanders & deluxes.

For those buyers who want higher end,higher quality TF toys. HasTak is currently only able to deliver this on the bigger scale Leader sized toys & MP TF toys.

Ditto again. Space considerations aside, if you try to cram in all the part into a certain scale Rated X, you get henkei Skyfire. An awesome mold but d@mn, its so severely limited. If as time and time again I have posted, done in Powerglide's scale (the leader or is it ultra class), then it would have floored the competition.

Again, reiterating my hopes that Arafat's product is not only awesome, sturdy and uses class A plastics that won't break if you stare at them in a funny way............and lastly, available in my area of residence.

This is not per se a double post but concerning MP scale with this behemoth. If you follow the 1984 show, G1 Grimlock towers Optimus. Well, the G1 1984 fig of Optimus is just the right scale to MP Grimlock and more than well, fits in the cartoon's rendering of Skyfire. That is if you follow the very unreliable scaling from that era

Still, it makes me wonder why Tomy/Takara or Hasbro can't pull off a stunt/product that Arafat and the other guy is doing with Skyfire. An exact rendering of him in the animation.

Is is safety? Legal issues? Poor market response?

Yeah, I wasn't counting on the April release since we haven't even seen it in color yet.

Thought this Kronos toy got cancelled a month ago. Due to pre-orders interest being so low.

POV, This has got to be worse huge scale 3rd party TF toy I have ever seen. Even, Ignoring the scale, The sculpt in both modes is overly boxy and super ugly. Not liking that almost the whole jet mode is hanging off the robot back. As bad as the robot mode looks, The jet mode looks far worse. This is why Deca Toys hardly shows the jet mode in pics.

Don't see the point here in making newer 3rd party TF toys that are more boxy than the original 1980's TF toys. The arguments about this not being a toy homage but cartoon homage is moot. POV, designing newer TF toys off the 1980's TF cartoon footage is a bad idea. As those 1980's TF G-1 cartons art was bad & awful even for it's time era.

The reason HasTak has gone Neo-G-1 radical designs with most of their Classics, Generations TF toys. Is Because HasTak realizes some of those original 1980's TF G-1 toys and cartoon art was epic terrible.

Totally not seing the so-called improvements on this Kronos toy. The improvements I see are so minimal, They might as well be seen through a telescope. It literally looks like all Deca Toys did was add more wire patterns,lines & ridges molded on to the sculpted plastic. The new face still looks bad.

HasTak has already created their version based off the 1985 Jetfire cartoon art. This is what the Classics 1.0 toy is.

Think the 1.0 and newest 30th Leader scale Jetfire are the superior toys here compared to Kronos.

Have you ever seen a Transformer jet from the '80s? 99% of them were jets with dudes hanging under them and dudes with jets on their back.

its hard to describe... but it looks flat to me. he's not as "sharp" looking as the official MP's hes standing next to.

Just think Kronos looks a bit undersculpted and overly boxy next to all those HasTak MP TF toys.

Looks very sharp! Excited for this to drop, hope its soonish. Good work guys! If I had to be negative, which is hard because this guy is really good, I would say the face is so so. But really that is minor.

Hypnos = Mindwipe???? God of Sleep, and "clan of evil robots who modified themselves" could mean Headmasters. Guess we'll have to wait and see, but that would be a very unexpected choice from Daca. Unexpected because it's vastly different from these huge figures (Jetfire/Skyfire) we've been anticipating from the company.

Kronos is the one with so much of the white color on his toy.
