Death Note Subs
So I'm following the Death Note series right now (anime). My problem now is, is that Viz Media has asked Animada to stop their subs of Death Note. This sucks, because I thought I read somewhere that the series was almost over. (god, I hope not)
Does anyone know any other groups/websites/etc where I can download the subbed Death Note episodes? I currently watch every new episode on YouTube because Animada stopped at 31 and YouTube has untill 34/35. This means there is still a group that is still subbing Death Note..

Since I can't give links you should try looking for a site that has "Toshokan" in it.
Since you are Dutch, I suggest buying the manga that came out last week in the Netherlands. Volume 1 and 2 are now available at Bruna.

Re: Death Note Subs
Kuro-hana is still doing subs? Death note will be at its end at episode 37 so yeah we are almost at the end.Calenatarion wrote:So I'm following the Death Note series right now (anime). edit: okay now this sucks.
Sad news to inform all off our watchers for Death Note.
We have just received a C&D(Cease and Desist) from VIZ Media stating for us to stop all distribution of Death Note by 22nd June 2007.
(This letter has also been served to Animanda, c1anime? & Several Death Note fan sites.)
Naturally, we will comply with Viz’s request and cease all distribution/subbing activities of Death Note.
Pussies! At least end the serie!
Some other group with at least some amount of balls better do those last 2 episodes. Cause I don't want no bloody dubs

Well crap... That's messed up. I guess I have to download eps. 32 to 35 from Limewire or that can't of programme and hope that an other grup indeed will finish it.
Bitches over at Viz -_-...

Don't worry you will probably find Kuro-Hana still doing the last 2 eps under a pseudonom and posted on a site like tpb or another similar site that isn't linked to their own tracker, although your probably better off not watching them considering how awful the ending in the manga is.
Needless to say someone will sub it, although it was pretty crappy of Viz to issue a C&D now considering theyve had the liscence since January.
On a side note has anyone seen Devil May Cry yet?

No the manga finished in Japan last year and the last volume of the English version is out at the start of next month.
A certain site that you hunt for cd image files has the files you seek

It ends quite abruptly and poorly, some people even go so far to say that it ruins the rest of the manga. Part 2 is considered so low that they've summed up about 5 and a half volumes of manga in 10 eps and left out quite large chunks of the story. The 27 eps of part 1 were the first 6 and a half volumes of the manga.
As for your edit, cd image files are .iso. So to answer your question, yes.

Doh figures. Especially since earlier today I downloaded 35 from that site. Try again tomorrow, they might have some bandwidth againCalenatarion wrote:"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded"
Heh, lucky me.

Also, you can see most of em on stage6

BUMP!
As I mentioned before the last two eps will be subbed despite the cease and desist orders. So far 2 groups have subbed episode 36, one called Ruberia, the other Cease & Desist(which looks suspiciously like kuro-hanas subs
) and has some quite funny people working on it.

Sorry for not replying sooner, I haven't been around for the last few day. If you search for death note on tokyotosho you will find the torrents, they are also on tpb so you should also find them on isohunt.

The ending wasn't bad, its just that I didn't liked it![]()
Makes me feel sad. I'd kinda rather wished the serie would have ended at episode 26.
It could be worse they could have actually done the final chapter which was completely omited from the anime.
In chapter 108 the world has settled back down, violent crime is returning and there is a cult that worships Kira and prays for his return and appears to be led by Misa.

but like I said, the ending wasn't bad, not at all. I'd personally would just have wanted a slightely different onesniper_samurai wrote:Spoon wrote:Damn, just now I saw the end of death note.

But yeah, that manga chapter sounds pretty horrible. Sounds like instead of just letting it end, the creator just lets it drag on and on and on....
Heh, the idea of live action movies always make me laugh when I think about em. According to wiki both movies were pretty succesful thoughCalenatarion wrote:Plus it's better than the movies made. Those really sucked...
