Following the interview with Transformers Animated guru Marty Isenberg that we reported here, Derrick Wyatt has been very active fielding comments he's been receiving on his personal blog A Delightful Tedium.

In response to one question regarding Transformers Animated Season 3, he gives us this little bit of info:

...we have more guest actors, and one former guest is practically a regular this season.

What could this mean? The return of Wreck-Gar? More Arcee? It's anyone's guess.

If its not those two it could be Fred Willard (Swindle) or Lance Henrikson (Lockdown). Either one would be great for the show.

I really hope it is Lance Henrikson. Lockdown is one of my all time favourite TF characters (and toys) now.

Arcee, Swindle and even Wreck-gar are cool too though.

Hmmm any character. Well I would like to see Lockdown back for an episode or two, but if someone is join the regular Autobot cast I hope it to be Blurr. I would rather that it be Sentinal than Blurr, but seeing that Sentinal is so closely tied with the Elite Guard I see that would be impossible.

I just hope it isn't Wreck-gar to return.

I'd mostly hope for Soundwave to return, considering he never got killed, but survived. MOAR Soundwave!

Good theory, but Cory Burton does the voice of Shockwave...as well as Megatron, Ratchet, Ironhide, Longarm and some others I think.

So he's already a regular.

But we probably will see more Shockwave action in season 3. At least I hope so
