While I'll agree wth you that the Hordika weren't great, I personally like the Inika.Bluebullet wrote:AxiomScion wrote:Bluebullet wrote:On subject: I never have felt ashamed of liking Transformers, but if I was still going to public school and revealed it, I would be ragged for eternity. but i've never been ashamed of liking TFs. Everyone should have a few creative outlets. TFs just happens to be one of mine.
oh... and Bluebullet is still cool
It was cool up until the Hordika (2005). The drastic changes made me and a large portion of the fandom leave because of the loss of Kanohi Masks, the mass production of large parts, ape physique, and new, stranger looks. This contributes to my opposition of the movie, because past experience shows the same flaws that hurt the franchise in the film. If you Google Image "Tahu" and then google "Inika Kongu", you will understand.

Because I don't care what others think about me and nor do I seek to have my existance justified by people who judge others on one little aspect of a persons character.

And people think we as collectors are somehow maladjusted......

WTF? Jeez, why to primitive males waste their time on such filth? I mean, seriously, that's freakin retarded. Can he 'use' all that porn at the same time?

I know, right? I highly doubt that he can utilize all of it at all, really. I also find it hard to believe that all of it could actually be different. This pal of mine also was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.....a shiney quarter to the first who can guess why! Now, I've given this matter a good amount of thought because I'm like that I guess, but this friend of mine tries to laugh at me because i collect action figures, claiming that his collection' is at least acceptable because at least it's 'manly'. Now I know we usually get into the repainted figure topic around here, and in truth a repaint is only valuable in the eyes of the person who buys it becuase it is, excepting the paint job, a figure that already might exist in ones' collection. But I still can see no way that one would have two and a half truck loads of porn and not admit that so many of them are essentially identical. Plus, there's no ethical problems with actgion figures really.
Just for clarity's sake I guess, let me just say that I am a reasonably well adjusted, heterosexual male with a college degree and a good job. I have a vast action figure collection encompassing a number of different arenas in addition to Transformers. I've gotta say, I appreciate women and sex and all that, but I have this problem with it being exploited, for lack of better descriptions I guess. Plus, I just plain ol' f****n' don't see how all that porn and my action figures both count as 'collections', and how I am somehow inferior because my #1 hobby isn't masturbating.

This is a result of his job or computer habits- repetitive stress injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome occur as a result of a completely different sort of motion than what one would perform while watching pornography.
