Dream Interpretation?

So my internet is being impossible, I would be browsing some dream interpretation sites but its just not happening.

Basically, I've been having some pretty graphic and disturbing dreams, and I'm wondering if someone here mught be able to help me find out what they mean.

Every night this week I've had a dream in which something graphic and violent has happened to me. If you're squeamish, you've been warned.

Monday: I dreamt I had a large wound in my ankle, bleeding and looking slightly infected. Wasn't causing me any pain so I continued about my dreamy business, which involved pulling out a tooth which didn't seem at all lose initially. A lot of bleeding followed.

Tuesday: I was exiting a minibus (my school's) and got my foot caught in the door as it was closing, which somehow tore it off. I was hobbling around and bleeding for the rest of the dream.

Wednesday: Looked at my legs (in the dream) and found they were horribly scarred up.

Thursday (Today): Was the worst so far. I was reaching into the back of a sofa, looking for a sewing kit, for some reason. And when I pulled my hand out, I had somehow managed to accumulate a large number of pins, running under my skin. 5 On the back of my hand, three on the upper palm (towards the fingers), three running up the back of my thumb and one or two sticking through the skin between my finger and thumb. I proceeded to remove them one by one with much difficulty, and was clumsy enough to tear the skin more and more, eventually and unrealistically exposing some bone which appeared weathered and worn, a dark brown.

Lord only knows what'll happen to me tonight.

This comes a few months after I had a series of dreams (running through a week) in which my ex girlfriend got shot by a crazed gunman, I killed my own mother, watched a family of friends be brutally axed to death by their father and finally, the dreams ended with me falling into a body of water occupied by some gaters, and lost my legs and right hand (im an artist). After being dragged onto the boat I remember bleeding to death.

...I think I'm going insane..

Any reasonable, sensible ideas as to whats going on up here?

Thanks (for god sake be sensitive) and goodnight :D

Pretty simple. Anxiety dreams. You're worried about something when you go to sleep, and your mind interprets this concern as real physical harm. Hence the dreams of injury to your person. You also worry about hurting the people you love, so that's why you have dreams that you hurt or kill them in some way.

I have these dreams regularly--nearly every night. Just keep in mind that they're just dreams and they're not indicative of your actual personality. For example, I would never slice somebody up like a cut of meat using a dull meat cleaver or run around exploding innocent people's heads with a shotgun, but I sure as hell dreamed that.

I also have this strange recurring dream involving a polar bear named Blargnarg.

If you've been having these for a while, I suggest you try lucid dreaming... or get into extreme bondage.

Most of mine involve giant sharks, and I can't even swim.

They're not nightmares, necessarily, since I never seem particularly scared nor do I wake up right away, but there's always giant sharks involved.

Same here with mine. I was never particularly shaken by any of it until I woke up. When my leg got torn off, I remember laughing to people about it. And everyone else in my dream was being really trivial about it also...

My dreams often involve my teeth dropping out. They just sort of wiggle loose then fall over, resulting in me spitting them out with a lot of blood, and the taste of it. Then it starts growing back in again. I haven't had that happen for a while, but it happened again last night.

Another recurring thing in my dreams is being chased by dogs. the breed changes each time, once I was in London as planes dropped out of the sky around me, not gliding down, as if someone had held them over the city and then let go, and while this was happening, I was chased by demonic dogs, similar to those in the Ghostbusters film. But there are usually dogs chasing me.

Now, the constant bloodshed, betrayal, sex, deciet and general wierdness (last night, I also dreamt I was captain of a pirate ship that was hauling some freight through a storm, ending with me drinking a helluva lot) I can handle, my brain is screwed up enough that I can. But the teeth and the dogs are really starting to worry me. They never happen in the same dream, but it has been going on for a few years now. And it is usually the same teeth that fall out.

Anyone know what that is all about?

I usaly dream of being Venom and well you know what he does.
But when I'm not dreaming that I'm Venom, I have these weird dreams of me living in a diferent world!
I mean I fall asleep and wakeup in a fantasy world, filled with Elves, Monsters, Dragons, and other various Cretores and it all seems so real.
I once forgot what was the real world and what the dream!

I hardly ever dream, but when I do they fall into two categories: dreams of me in real-life doing something and then I wake up and it takes me a minute to realize it was a dream or the dreams with the undead in it (zombies, werewolves, vampires, etc.) where they don't really bother me.

Strangely, it is the real-life mundane dreams that are caused by waking forces whereas the undead dreams are there just because of the crazy sh*t I watch.

Ya-- mostly it's me in real-life situations, except I score more often than I normally do.
