Man Rule #1: No matter the circumstances, talking about how a fellow man is feeling is strictly prohibited. Only give a rough pat on the shoulder, and, if need be, offer to buy him a beer.
You have a lot of growing up to do if you really subscribe to this nonsense..
Men have feelings and express them.. Sorry but it happens in reality. Deal with it.
Why do some men keep it inside? Fear. They feel if they express emotion it shows weakness and men are not supposed to show weakness and that is bullshit. NO one should be scared to show their emotions because of what other guys (or anyone else for that matter) will think of them.
Quick story, I was in my junior year of high school, a GF whom I had deep feelings for and I broke up. While in the park after school some guy got in my face and told me I was a pussy for crying..

Guys can show emotion and be tough as well.

Did I say we can't cry? I did not.

Moonbase2 wrote:Well I will say that I understand about crying in private. After my boyfriend died, it seemed that everyone else started going on with their lives and weren't crying anymore (for a couple weeks after it happened, EVERYONE was crying all the time). For many, many months, I'd put on some sad music and cry (ok, sob) and would feel better, pick myself up, and go on. Sometimes I wonder if that's what they were doing, too.
