I think styrene may have been a better choice. What the heck are they amde out of? They look like dried up boogers molded into shape. Just spend some money and buy replacement die cast stacks off ebay.

Interesting, what ever you used has to dry I think.

Nice for a scratchbuild, especially considering how bad it looked to begin with. But nothing compares to the die cast metal smoke stacks from ebay.

Why did you ever buy dvd prime anyway? That toy sucks!

How does he suck? Sure he's not might be MP Prime, but it's a plastic version of him. Besides, my friend found him for $35.

He sucks because of the lame colors and lack of chrome. Not to mention those stupid voice activated things you get which sound like **** yet jacks up the price. You should have gotten 20th Anni prime instead. He has a better paint job, battle damaged exterier and chrome paint and no effing voice work and its like 30 bucks cheaper!

 So you saying I can find a 5 dollar 20th Prime? Guy, I live in the US.

The reason I got the DVD version is because the smokestacks were plastic. And I work easier with plastic modifications. And besides, even if I could've just bought 20th anniversary Prime, I don't feel like wasting money on modded chrome smokestacks.

Dude. Whoa. Lay off the hate.I just wanted to keep my mind busy.

Besides, I like the display. I never activate the phrases. I just like the base.

The base is cool to, I'll pic him up wen he's cheaper.

Oh and nice job. :)

Ok dont you start ya smelly irish twat! :P (kidding, although i dunno about the smelly thing yet...)

Dude, i wasnt flaming, i was just curious as to why you bought the inferior toy because where i come from the 20th anni prime (the closest thing to an MP prime) is what would amount to 30 bucks cheaper than the crappy dvd version.

Maybe we have things backwards here and where you come from the dvd prime is cheaper like it should be.

Hey Sonray, Argos will probebly have the DVD Prime cheap during the summer Sale. Wouldn't he be the purfect thing to mod into a MP Dead Prime? You could keep the stand for the better one.
That's wat I'll be doing if the Argos sale is realy cheap on him. (And have the chash for it :P )

Yeah he'd be perfect to turn into a damaged dead Prime, especially since he has the matrix and stuff. But he'd have to be really cheap to be worth buying for such a project.

He's definitely cheap in the Western states where my friends brought him. The Wal Mart was having a sale. So my friend picked him up. Sides. Plastic, as I said before, is much easier to work with than chrome for my case.

The 20th anni prime has loads of it. Mostly on his cab area and his lower legs.

Same with DVD Prime. Only it's his legs and chest, minus his stomach.

To clear things up: All dvd primes, 20th anni primes and MP primes all have a diecast cab/chest/upper torso and bottom half of the legs. Thats it.

Theres no die cast on the thighs, arms, or stomach.
