Yeah, because Drew Barrymore's mom was poor when she was feeding her child liquor and cocaine. Do you realize that statement is about half a step away from bigotry?
Half a step? I'd say they crossed that threshold and they're enjoying it.
Here's something for both of them to think about...generally the people who use those types of drugs are the trustfund preppy college kids who are well off and never have to worry about a single thing.
Most of the poor people that happen to do drugs usually do Marijuana and the like. Ecstasy and drugs of that nature are generally far far our of their monetary reach.
My mother's friend is pretty well off, but her son's quite poor and the most he could come up with was Weed and Meth addictions. He most likely would've loved to have gotten some Ecstasy but he could never afford it.
And he happened to be poor by his mother's choice, she was never a good mother and turned her back on him, never did her job right, and it shows.
My parents, while nowhere near rich, did the best they could, and while I can be a true ass at times, they certainly didn't raise an addict, and they'd have gotten me treatment if I had gone down that path.
Poor people do not equal evil people. Rich people do not equal evil people. Any class can be evil, even the inbetweeners...in fact, their kids are more likely to do drugs because life is easy enough, yet the parents restrain them a tad too much.
I dated a woman who was studying to be a nurse (she succeeded finally) and he parents started out as middle class, and then ended up rich, rich, rich. The woman I was dating had been a heavy drinker since her teens, and continues to do so. Her sister, who has a beautiful Condo in Medina Ohio makes scads of money and drinks herself to sleep every single night. I, on the other hand, Mr. Poor could do the same (because Beer's cheap, really) but I've only been intoxicated four times in my life. Once during her ^ college graduation party because she wanted me to try and keep up with her, but I stopped before she could drink me under the table.
Everyone is capable of losing it all and being poor, they need to remember that. They also need to remember, that the people they spit on, on their way to the top, will be waiting when they fall face first on the ground.

WTF! The mother's parents shoulda chose to abort her before she was born. Not only is she a waste of space, but she was allowed to breed?! Ugh.
