Nothing ever happened in my hometown of Willmar Minnesota, which is just a blip on the map. The only thing that I can recall is that it's the birthplace of Astronaut, Pinky Nelson...yeah...I hadn't heard of him before either. He did come talk to my school though, which was cool at the time.

No, no, it's not. That's why I wouldn't post this in a Things You're Proud Happened in Your Hometown thread.

Could be worse. Could be from Arlington, SD, where I'm from. Only a town of about 1000.

The only thing Arlington has ever produced was that we had a Miss South Dakota. Yeah she was hot. I sat next to her in band. LOL.

I guess we also had a Nobel Prize winner in Economics in like 1972 come from there.

We have Dave Sim, a very famous independant comic writer/artist (Cerebus), I meet with coffee with him every once in a while. Other then that, we're considered the most intelligent community in the world (I'm not kidding)
