What we all thinking on the reveals from yesterday? I've collected my Ham Brained thoughts here, I wanna know how other peeps are vibing.
(I hope this is the right place for this, I'm real bad at navigating forums )

Dirge and Ramjet are cool but I wish they were being sold somewhere other than Amazon. The no-trailer Optimus... whatever. Elita is a complete write-off unless someone makes a kit to replace her head with Ariel's. Soundwave is a pass since he's a retool of the SIEGE figure instead of a new mold with a bigger tape compartment. Bumblebee... On the one hand, I already have the Titans Return version and that doesn't partsform; on the other hand, this Bumblebee wouldn't need re-shelling to be a classic Beetle and has clear glazing.. Decisions, decisions...
Ironhide is disappointing since I wanted the full-fledged battle sled, not a gun turret that's only slightly less half-hearted than what the "MP" offered in that department. Prowl.. I hope those headlights can be popped out. The stuff we already knew about is cool.

For me, a lot of what's coming out looks really good... If I were a rich man, I would bite on a few things for sure-- the Prowl and Ironhide 2 pack, because those bot modes are on point... I almost hate saying it, but that Prowl in some ways is better than the Universe version. The new Ironhide looks so much better than anything previous.

But even though I think a lot of this looks great, I'm passing on all of it with a couple exceptions:
Conehead 2 pack is already preordered.
Soundwave is a 'maybe' simply because I think they did a great job with the tape recorder mode, and with having the MP version, the re-issue, and the R.E.D. version on the way, I would display his alt mode behind my desk at my workplace. He's my favorite character and I've always loved both of his modes.
The other reason is because eventually I could see wanting to display him with Megatron and the 6 seekers I'll end up with. But I did pick up Soundblaster (on a good sale) and visually he may suffice.
The only other real maybe from the reveals is if the Decepticon spoiler leader is Galvatron.
But as with anything, it would depend on how he looks.
Besides, I'm thinking more and more that's not happening... Shockwave or Magnus seem more likely. Or who knows, maybe it's Jetfire... But unfortunately I think we're all going to have to wait a bit longer for a proper Galvatron. Fingers crossed he's in the SS '86 line-up.

It's pretty exciting stuff, but here's where my thoughts shift--
I'm getting all 3 coneheads.
Then based on how they look,
Galvatron, Cyclonus, any leader class Dinobots, possibly more SS '86 Movie figures, and MP Starscream are all heavily on my radar.
So that's possibly a large chunk of change out of the 'ol piggy bank.
I'm also trying to continue curbing my collection... It already bothers me that I have almost all of my UW combiners (among others) put away in boxes right now.
My kid needs some shelf space too; he has a crazy amount of Lego sets.

Thankfully I'm very confident I'll be passing on any BW stuff and giving my checking account a breather.
