All right, you've seen the movie. Now, who would you say is your favorite Autobot and your favorite Decepticon and why? Also, who did you like the least from each faction?


Me -

Favorite Autobot: Ironhide
(love the attitude)

Favorite Decepticon: Blackout
(it's like having Soundwave and Cyclonus in one character)

Least Favorite Autobot: Ratchet
(just didn't feel like Ratchet to me)

Least Favorite Decepticon: Starscream
(I've never liked Starscream so he's my least favorite by default)

Favorite Con: Frenzy. He was funny.
Bot: Prime. It was great to see a "live" Prime.

Least Con: Devastator. Complete underused character.
Bot: Jazz. His "Waz up bitches" didn't fit, IMO.

Fav con: Blackout (underused in the late part of the movie, but I liked the airbase scene; and I like helicopter-formers)
Fav bot: Ironhide (cool weapons)

Least fav con: Scorponok (Hey, if he hunts the humans one by one at the village, and not stops in one place to be a living target, there would be no survivors)
Least fav bot: BBee (I can't understand why he hasn't talked until the late part and the scene "May I talk, Optimus?" ruined it. If that talk would be in the end, when he was repaired, it wouldn't have ruined his story.)

Fav autobot- Optimus of course
Fav decepticon- Always has been Starscream with Barracade running close second

Least Fav bot- Rachet
Least Fav dec- Still has to be Megs cause to me without a big gun attached to his right are it just isn't Megatron

least fave con= brawl

Fav Autobot: Bumblebee
Fav Decepticon: Barricade

I know not all that oringal, but the scene where Mikala says something like "If he's suppose to be some super advance robot, why did he chose a crappy old camero" leading Bumblebee to slam on the breaks and throw them out was priceless.

Barricade is mostly to do with his scene with Sam and fact none of the other decepticons besides frenzy and megatron were nothing more than punching bags for the autobots and US Military. Decepticons like character overall but oh well...

Frenzy had his moments, but his jibba-jabber was wearing thin towards the end, so of corse he has to make up for it by having his last words be "Oh sh*t" That bastard, heh heh...

Least Fav Autobot: Jazz (Reminded me more of Blaster than of Jazz)
Least Fav Decepticon: Bonecrusher (Wow he lived long *rolls eyes* Hell the previews practically show all his clips...)

Least Fave- Frenzy

Favorite Decepticon- Definitely Barricade. He was big, mean and just plain evil. Loved it.

Favorite Autobot- That's a tough one, but I'd have to go with Ironhide, just because I thought he looked really cool.

Least Favorite Decepticon- Probably Devastator, just because there he didn't seem to have any defining personality characteristics.

Least Favorite Autobot- I liked them all, but if I had to pick one I'd probably say Jazz. Not that I didn't like him, I thought he was really funny and looked great, but I just liked the others better.

Favourite Bot- Definitely Ironhide

Favourite Decepticon-Probably Barricade

Least Favourite Bot- Not saying I hate him just saying least favourite- Jazz

Least Favourite Con- Scorponok only because his eyes give me the heebie jeebies.

favorite autobot: BumbleBee, i liked how he really came through and saved the day a bunch of times.

Least Favorite: Ratchet, he just didnt do enough in the movie


Favorite Decepticon: Tie between barricade and black out, i like black out because of his character development in the prequel books and i like barricade because of his in your face personality

Least Favorite: Brawl...his whole existence in the movie could have been cut and no one would know

Favorite Bots are Optimus Prime, second Jazz, third Ironhide.

Favorite Cons are Megatron, Barricade , Starscream.

Favorite Bots:
1.Optimus Prime:He kicked so much ass in this movie. Plus it was pretty much the same Prime I grew up with(even thought he looked different)
2.Bumblebee:The way he tried to help Sam out with Mikeala, he can be my car anytime!

Favorite Deceps:
1.Barricade:That is one sweet Mustang!
2.Megatron:I had shivers when he awoke and said "I AM MEGATRON!" Luved how Sam called him the "Harbringer of Death". Nuff said.

Favorite Bot: Ironhide-He was badass. And funny.

Favorite Con: Frenzy-Again, badass and funny. "DOI! *SMASH*"

Least Favorite Bot: I'd have to say Jazz. He was cool, just not cool enough.

Least Favorite Con: Brawl-I didn't even get to SEE all of him!

I really didn't dislike even the most annoying bot in the film, Frenzy. Yea, he was a piece of shi-, but hey, he allowed a few good chuckles.

So yea, OTHER THAN Optimus Prime, I'd have to say Bumblebee.

Why? B/c he was the focus of the story essentially. The spirit of Bumblebee was well captured even w/o the more familiar Beetle bod. Honorable mention to Jazz and Ironhide.

Favorite Decepticon? I'd say Blackout. Why? The opening scene of the movie. It pretty much showed off exactly what these Decepticons are capable of. You didn't see any personality from this guy, but his bad assery was made pretty clear in short order. Honorable mention to the no nonsense Barricade, and even Starscream, who didn't have alot of airtime.

Who did I hate? Megatron. Was it b/c of his design? Hugo Weaving being chosen over Welker? No. I accepted his Cybertronian mode ages ago. It doesn't bother me at all. What I can't accept is that he is portrayed to be the ultimate Decepticon, yet he was written as nothing more than a brutish bully.

Megatron is more of a powerful, threatening, loud/obnoxious, bad ass than a leader of the Decepticons. 'Megatron SMASH PUNY HUMANS/AUTOBOTS' isn't good enough for me. I want my evil scheming Megatron. The strategist. The military commander. Not a thug.

Of coarse my Favorite is starscream but I also liked Brawl as second fav. My least favorite is surprisingly Prime.

Yeah I knew there was anothe reason why I hated Megs your right. 1. Prime is suposed to be the tougher of the 2 2. Megs is the one thats the military genius they're almost backwards in that way.

Favorite Autobot- Optimus Prime. I am sure that I liked O.P over the other Autobots strictly due to Peter Cullen voicing him. Nostalgia at its best.

Least Favorite- Jazz. For obvoius reasons.

Fovorite Decepticon- Barricade. His vehicle mode was sooooo Awesome. That LED light bar was the shiz and his overall personality was great. I know the comic killed him off but I am holding on to hope that he is in part 2.

Least Favorite- Brawl. Maybe if they would have developed his character I would have liked him. But if I had to chose one it would be him.

See I kinda liked him this way. As much as an evil genius as his previous personalities were, I like the brute approach as well. I'm not saying one is better than the other, just simply different. He was like a monster in the movie, huge, unreal strength and evil.

Anyway he and Barricade were my favorite Cons.
The Scene where barricade is revving and lurching forward at Sam was intense.

Bots I would say Ironhide, he more than pulled his weight in the final battle.
Jazz was not bad though. As small as he was to instantly step up to Megs was awesome.

I honestly loved *all* the Decepticons. They were all so menacing. My favorite was definitely Barricade though, followed by Brawl and Starscream.

I wasn't so hot on the Autobot designs. I liked Optimus and Bumblebee, but the others were kind of boring, esp. Ironhide. He was so monochromatic, it was hard distinguishing any details on him.

Favorite Decepticon was Blackout. Ever since I played the game he has been my favorite in the movie. I wish he would have use his rotors like he uses them in the game.

Favorite Autobots = I hate autobots. But I will have to say Ironhide looked awesome.


Don't really hate anybody. Just wish every body would have got equal camera time.

Well, Movie Megs didn't really have a chance to form much of a strategy. The final battle reminded me of a Capture the Flag match or something, and the autobots were getting away with the flag. Megs woke up in the middle of a battle and the thing that he wants the most is getting away and he has the brute force to take it back. What would you do?

And it's possible that he could've formed some sort of strategy, perhaps he intended for Starscream to intercept the helicopter that was going to take the cube and intended for Blackout to chop Prime in the back (which failed) in the middle of their fight (Prime and Megs obviously have a history, Megs probably figured that Prime is one of the few autobots smart enough to survive this long and find the cube, and they seem to have a rivalry so he would obviously see himself getting into a fight with im).

Although, I wish that his first words weren't "I am Megatron!"

He did have a big gun, not the traditional form but his fusion cannon is revealed when he puts his arms together.

My favorite Decepticon: Megatron
My favorite Autobot: Ironhide

Least Favorite Decepticon: Devastator (He kinda just stood there and got shot up.)
Least favorite Autobot: Jazz (His part was just way too small to have great significance especially since he now two halves of one bot...)

Know seriously the majority of megatrons dont have that arm cannon. I never liked it it got in the way of the figure everything. I dont know what to call this but arm cannon steryotypicalness (ROFL) But im glad megatron hasnt had an armcannon in a long time.Also the gun mode was the biggest mistake in tf history.Im clad he combines his arms to make on really bad ass cannon. Know only if hasbro could paint his toy right.
