okay so if Frenzy comes out of Soundwave how can Frenzy be a radio? i know it's a dumb question but how can Frenzy be inside Soundwave if he transforms intoa radio. I guess you can't answer this until we see Soundwave in the movie so just go ahead and call me an idiot

Well actulley it is Barricade he is not always a radio he just turns into that to hide like when he turns into a cell phone.

I just hope soundwave is big, but somehow I have a feeling he will just dig up info and not actively fight

He only turned into a mobile phone because he was only a head at that time and didn't have enough mass to become a cd player. His full-body alt mode was a cd player throughout the movie.

And if Soundwave turns up in TF2 (I really hope so) that doesn't mean Frenzy has to be his minion. TF1 paired him with Barricade and has every right to do so, because it is a reimagining of the TF mythos and makes use of what's avaiable. This is not a cgi remake of the 80's series, this is a new story, with new characters.

ya the movie universe is its own. ppl need to stop trying to compair it to G1...we all love G1 but the movie is different. something we all gotta live with.

I agree that Frenzy doesn't have to be partnerred to SoundWave. Although in T2 I'm looking foward to seeing Soundwave have an active role in the film.

If you guys did ur homework you would have known that Frenzy in the movie was originally Soundwave. It was recast as Frenzy shortly before the movie came out.

Don't worry, we did. But the fact that he (and Blackout too) were once meant to be Soundwave doesn't change anything to what we posted here. He's Frenzy now and that effectively makes him a namesake to the G1 Casseticon, hence this topic's question.

If you really want to get technical with it, Prime should have been a cab over engine truck, both Ironhide and Ratchet vans, Bumblebee a VW, and Jazz a Porsche. Not to mention Starscream an F18 Tomcat and not an F22 Raptor, Megatron a gun and so on and so on blah blah blah.

And the only change I saw for Blackout was that he should have been Vortex.

If you read my first post in this topic, you'll see I agree with you 100%. This is indeed not G1

I merely pointed out what line of thought spawned this thread

Sup bro good topic!

I personally don't feel that the whole tape coming out the cassette deck is plausible anymore. I think Frenzy (and hopefully Rumble... he was a little **** that would be great in TF2 lol) could very well just be Soundwave's minion in the next movie. Soundwave doesn't have to say "Rumble, Frenzy... eject... operation: termination" he could say something like "Rumble, Frenzy... attack... operation: termination" or something along those lines.

I think Ravage would be extremely cool to have in the sequel as well, if they did him right.

The bot that turned into the cellphone wasn't Frenzy it was another bot created for the Allspark.
