I've decided I'd be willing to throw my Alt Hound bash in for this. Pics of it are in the gallery here on Transtopia, was my first bash attempt after finding this place, and I think its fitting it go to help out.

Thank you Tentagil! That's a most righteous move. That Hound custom came out great. And it will be a great addition to the offerings here.

Thanks again Tentagil.

Whenever you guys start this up and I'll happily mail the figure to whoever is running the auctions/raffle/whatever it is.

Thanks Tentagil.

I just had a thought about the actual raffle. Do you guys think it's a possible good idea to try and do the winner selection at Botcon? That would give donors time to get things finished and also provide more of a fun and personal environment for this.

I don't think I'm able to go to Botcon but if anyone here is and thinks that this is a good idea, maybe something official can even be worked out with the promoters.

Just another thought...

Hmm... maybe. It'd also be a good way to garner publicity for it, if we want it.
When is Botcon, anyway? It'll at least give me a deadline to work to...

Sounds like a good idea. I won't be making Botcon either I'm afraid.

Dev, you're in NY too so if you want to take my MP Megs '88' with you to botcon maybe we can do a "hand-off" before. That way it could be safely transported and given to a winner at the show (if we decide to do the raffle this way...)

If we could get a bunch of donated artwork and customs to the show, then a nice display of prizes could be put together. Then the raffle could be conducted in-person and old school style.

Again these are all pipe-dreams at this point so if anyone thinks I'm not being realistic, then please sound off...otherwise, let's try and make this work.

Like I said I'll send my Hound to who ever is handing out the prizes. He's pretty much boxed and ready to mail when ever we decide whats happening.

I hope so, although I doubt I'll be able to finish my 'bashes early enough to ship for Botcon. Shouldn't be too long after, though - once I've worked out the bugs in my first versions, the second should go a lot smoother.

Or so goes the plan...

I'm still in - or I should say that MP Megs Flak 88 is still in. I've just been pegged at work and don't see an end for weeks. Dev, if you're reading/watching/listening I'd like to do a handoff before botcon if anyone can get a raffle going. I'm sorry I can't do more at this point. If anyone wants to run with this - please do. I'm happy for all of the interest and hope we can get something cool together for botcon even if it's informal.

If anyone else is either in NY (in my case) or is going to botcon and wants to transport peoples donated bashes, then perhaps you should post here and set things up to have donations mailed to you.

Again, thanks for the interest.

I'd be willing to transport things, but it depends on where you live. I don't want to go too far out of the way to get things as it's already a long trip for me. Jaf, if you could send me your address I'll let you know what I can do.

My G1 Alt Hound is packed and ready to be shipped to whoever is going to be running this thing. At this point though thinking its a little late for it to make it to any one going to Botcon.

This is a great idea and I don't want to see it fall apart.

So what has happened with this? I'm assuming nothing happened at Botcon, so are we still planning on doing this thing or not?

I've been pretty much chained to a new job and haven't touched anythig TF related (it hurts) & haven't even seen the movie!

Someone should pick thisup and run with it. We've got some good donations and good interest but no force driving the thing. Unfortunately, that can't be myself. However, the MP Megs donation still stands.

I hope you all are well and look forward to getting back into the swing of things one of these weeks/months.

I'm still working on my contributions, but at the moment I'm flat broke... even if I finish it soon, I don't have the money to send it anywhere. But again, it's still on offer.

Any idea how well the Subaru fits? I've done a quick digibash, but for some reason I can't get at Photobucket at the mo, or Angeltowns, where my webspace is, so I can't put it up.
