G1 Galvatron VS G1 Megatron.
Who will win?

G1 Galvatron.

The closest to a win Megs can hope for is in IDW, and that Galvatron is technically an immortal/zombie with nothing to lose in killing him.

He'd need to get his G2 abilities to stand a chance in the other continuities which would bar him from the fight for not being G1 any more...

So G1 Megs can't win.

but technically Non-IDW G1 Galvys can't risk G1 Megs losing either...

Cartoon post-movie Galvatron would get his skidplate handed to him. Any other Galvatron would win.

Galvatron would be more prone to do mistakes in his maddened condition, so... depends on the surroundings and possibilities Galvatron and Megs has.

Galvatron's more powerful, sure, but in the cartoon continuity, he's loopy. Unless the battle amounts to nothing more than a close-range shoot-out, Megatron has a chance. The more strategy the situation allows, the greater that chance becomes. The longer the conflict lasts, the greater Megs' chances grow, also. Galvatron's more likely to grow frustrated, make a foolish error, or burn himself out. I'm not seeing this as so cut-and-dry.

Prime whooped Megatron into draw..............Meanwhile Galvatron had to use his (Scourge and his armada) to destroy Ultra Magnus.I still say its Galvatron that would beat Megatron. Given that Galvatron gets strength from Unicron. Meanwhile Megatron would use his Black hole tap, and wear himself out if that would get him Victory. Still Galvatron wins.

Happened in the US Marvel comics too. Galvy won as well, though he felt a kinship to Megatron and spared his life.

if you count serious cognitive and behavioral impairment as being without a scratch...

even in the cartoon though galvatron would probably win. he was just a berserker. in web world i think it was, he actually beat ultra magnus in a one on one fight and the decepticons drove off the autobots almost solely thanks to galvatrons insane rage. megaton was a better leader, and probably physially equal to galvatron, but he would rather retreat and fight another day than take serious damage and risk a huge loss. hed have a much more measured and tactical approach to the fight, but in the end if galvatron flipped out he just wouldnt go down until hed won.

but then its equally likely that hed be freaked out and flee himself, like in the ultimate weapon. a stoic roddimus really messed with him mind simply by walking towards him. so im sticking with galvatron because i think he would rage against megatron, but the opposite could easily happen. though in any other media galvatron wins.

Each can kill the other with one shot. If Megatron survives long enough, he can use the black hole weapon. (As far as we know, Unicron took that ability from Galvatron.) Failing that, Megatron might win due to the superior power of his cannon. Galvatron only has a laser; Megatron can fire streams of pure star fuel. If Galvatron wants to win, he should do it quickly.
