I'll probably like the game, personally. I mean, I'm the kind of person that actually enjoyed Jaws Unleashed and Predator: Concrete Jungle...

I was hoping for it to get good reviews but I kinda decided to pass on it a while ago as I've just bought a shedload of other games (about 15 RPG's at around 50+ hours gameplay each) so can't justify any more games until around 2010.
I really hope they fix the "No-transform in mid-air" thing because that was one of the coolest things about Atari transformers, driving off a ledge transforming turning around and fragging decepticlones before landing.
Actually that'd almost make it a must have - mid air transforming as a jet.....

That one button attack thing sucks, I thouthg that would be a PSP only thing (or even just the cell phone game), but that sounds pretty crappy. I'll still buy it though.

Well, like they said: they didn't play the final version, so it may turn out better than before. The single button melee trick--not impressed by that, but if you remember in the Atari Armada game, your melee attack button was the same as your primary weapon button and you could only use it if you were right in the Decepticlone's face, so there isn't that much of a difference there.
And what's wrong with getting confused when there's so much chaos going on? That's what makes it fun! Am I the only one who thinks that losing one's bearings when some huge explosion or lots of stuff is getting blown to slag freaking exciting? If I am, then is there a support group for this?
Seriously, I still have hopes about this game and will throughly enjoy it when I get it.[/end rant]

They complained about the weapons lacking umph but they told us they only got to play the first 2 or 3 levels, Im pretty sure that by the end of the game your weapons will be upgraded along the way. And I remember the GRAW 2 demo being laggy and slow as hell and that game turned out fine.

Dood, this game is fun. It's very hard for me to put the controller down and stop playing for a second.

I have to believe that the writer of that column isn't a true transformers fan. Sure, there are things in the game I would have liked to see, but did not: jump into transformation, bigger-looking gunfire, multiplayer. However, I love this game! I love the transformations, the environments, the sounds of people screaming when I knock their cars over. The beginning scene is really cool. I even like the controls. They could have opened it up a little bit more: being able to select which guy you wanted to be from the beginning, socom-style multi-player, etc. Maybe they will take our input and get these things into the next game they make. I would give it about a 3.8 out of 5.
