Re: GI Joe Fans Unite-- 25th Anniversary Fig Talk and More!
I've been collecting the 25th Anniv. since it began.
I love it, but been taking a small break lately for Transformers...
But that break will end here soon... wayyy too much many good joe stuff coming out to pass up!

With an Arctic Hiss coming (love the idea), can a Snowcat and Battle Bear two-pack be far off?

I can't wait to get ahold of the motorized tank I always wanted one as kid along with the night raven.

I'm not sure how many more vehicle waves we have coming before Resolute. Any idea on how they're selling?

Pretty well around here they can't keep them in stock at any of the stores I goto and the target exclusives vehicles are flying off the shelves but this time there make sure to order more unlike the last time were they got one shipment and that was it.

The vehicles I hope they release before Resolute are some vehicles used by the Iron Grenadiers.

I'd like to see some of those too but the only one I can really see is Destro's air skiff but that's doubtful since I don't see them releasing the IG version again. That gets me thinking. After the original IG Destro the next one was back to the silver headed Cobra loyalist. What happened, or is he like Iron Man and has diffent types of uniforms?

G.I. Joe club has posted images of the upcoming vehicles.
F.L.A.K. vs Cobra Claw.
http://gijoeclub.com/2009veh2-01.cfm
Stinger and Arctic Hiss.
http://gijoeclub.com/2009veh2-02.cfm
I hope they will continue to keep those missiles on the C.L.A.W. Is the pilot based on a previous figure?
I like the Arctic H.I.S.S. and Stinger, though the driver of the Arctic H.I.S.S. looks weird. Stinger Commander looks cool.
If I can get my hands on the Arctic H.I.S.S. I might just have to buy the Extreme Conditions Arctic set to go along with it. I wonder if they'll keep releasing H.I.S.S. tanks with different deco for each environment. It would be cool to see a camouflage H.I.S.S. for a jungle environment.
The F.L.A.K. I like. I'm tempted to buy two to have at each end of the shelf I keep them on. I doubt I will though just because I need to save money whenever I can towards a new tv. After 10 years my tv decided to break.

Love the arctic HISS! And I don't see anything really bad about the driver. It's a snow serpent with Hiss driver head, basically. I think the black boots, gloves, and straps make it a bit odd looking I guess.
The Stinger is too cool! I may have to pick up multiples of these, especially the Arctic HISS.
The red CLAW with Stratoviper is excellent too!!! The flak is okay.
Nice stuff coming. I may be looking for multiples!

congrats tigertracks 24 if ever manage to find one in this neck of woods I won't be opening because it seems to be really rare version but I did buy the gold head version today so I could open it. Love both figures although it does suck that neither of them can hold machine gun that comes it pack.

Just tell me what shows ya watch and I'll watch them for ya, as long as it ain't like Sex in the City or something like that.
The IG holds the Uzi fine for my guy. The only problem I have is he can't hold it with two hands. That's more to do with the CC body than the gun.

I don't need anyone to watch shows for me. I grabbed our tv from the living room for now till I can afford an HDTV to replace my broken one, so I don't miss the shows I like to watch. You can still watch the shows I do like My Name is Earl and Ghost Hunters if you want.
I think my IG held the gun pretty well, but I ended up keeping the gun in where I keep the rest of the unused weapons as it looked way to big for him.
Does anyone know if the Firebat still fits inside the Terrordrome?
I've seen an old Terrordrome online that I'm not sure whether it's complete or not, doesn't really matter to me so long as I have a base for my Cobra troops, and it still has the Firebat. If I win and the new one fits I plan to give my uncle and his son the vintage Firebat.

I have compared my Firebats, and they are exactly the same, minus the red used for the plastic. I haven't tried it, but I would assume the new one would work in the silo. I have my weather dominator/mass device sitting on the silo right now.

i managed to get the last rattler at target
. what bitter sweet victory. it was kind of interesting when i was there, there was this one kid who got to it first and wanted it, and his sister asked if he had enough for it. he put it back and i picked it up, and i could kind of see that he was staring at me. so i feel a little guilty for that though.

Over at Hisstank.com they've posted some images of upcoming toys.
The first link is for the Rock Slide with Snow Job from next year's movie toyline.
http://www.hisstank.com/gi-joe-news/gi- ... -toy-7725/
Short Fuse and Thunder with Armadillo.
http://www.hisstank.com/gi-joe-news/25t ... illo-7727/
Normally I like the vehicles they release and plan to buy them, but I just can't get excited about the Rock Slide or the head on Snowjob. Who knows though, it may grow on me. Snow Job kind of looks like one of those old movie villains.
I'm definitively getting the repaint of the Armadillo. I like Thunder, except for the right hand which I'm sure is that way because it's a prototype or whatever.
I don't know if Short Fuse is the same as in the upcoming Ultimate Battlepack or if it's going to be a rerelease.

If I remember that Uzi is the same size as the original one that came with the IG. I wish that was the Uzi that came with any and all of the SE since it is a bit bigger.
The rock sled looks like it used parts from a left over locus as well as one of those IG flight pods. Spring loaded missiles always work for me.

Re: GI Joe Fans Unite-- 25th Anniversary Fig Talk and More!
We're finally going to be getting a Dr.Mindbender, Shockwave, Alley Viper, Recondo, Night Creeper, Zap, and some others. This was sent out with the Q&As.
"Thank you for your incredible support over the past year. What started as just a handful of figures in 2007 now includes a full line of figures, vehicles, comic packs, DVD packs, Mighty Muggs, and Combat Heroes. Yo Joe!
We would like to take this opportunity to answer one of the most common questions about the classic 3 3/4"" figures we have heard from the fans: Will there be any more classic 1980's 3 3/4"" figures after fall 2008?
The Hasbro G.I. Joe Team's response: In late 2008 you will see a bonus wave of single figures and classic comic packs that are redecos of figures from the 25th Anniversary collection. Due to the huge success of the G.I.Joe line, we were able to squeeze in a number additional figures into the end of this year. But this does not mean the end of classic figures or new tooling! As we head into 2009 prior to the August 2009 live-action movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, you will see newly tooled classic vehicles, newly tooled versions of your favorite characters from G.I. Joe Resolute, and a number of favorites you have been waiting for:
Dr. Mindbender, Alpine, Tunnel Rat, Alley Viper, Recondo, Outback, Night Creeper, Zap, Shockwave, and even more!
With the release of the 2009 movie you will see many of your favorite 1980's characters in movie styling, but that does not mean the end of the classic style. The Hasbro G.I. Joe Team recognizes that there are plenty of additional classic 1980's figures and vehicles to release in the future after the movie and in the years to come."
Heres a link to all the Q&As posted so far.
http://www.generalsjoes.com/qanda.html
I'm glad to see the release of Dr.Mindebender as Cobra just doesn't seem like Cobra without him. Shockwave will be nice to have, I've wanted an updated one since I started playing Metal Gear Online because I molded my character's appearance off him as best I could.
According to one Q&A they stated the Target vehicles will be released and repainted before the release of the movie. Hopefully it'll be mass retail release like the other Target vehicles. Hopefully Tiger Force deco where they stated they have more sub-faction figure and vehicles planned.
We should see mini-playsets as well. They stated "You will not see a "major" playset before the G.I. Joe movie. It is possible (50%) that the classic mini battle stations will make a comeback before movie." I've been waiting for them to release those as they are perfect for the current $15 vehicle packs.
On a side note, it looks like I won't be able to get that Terrordrome. It shot up more then I could afford even before I could make a bid for it. I should be able to get one down the road eventually, maybe Hasbro will release a new one after the movie.

I went to TRU today and picked up a Crimson Guard 5 Pack. I think I'll stop with the CG now and build up my B.A.Ts and Snow Serpents. Nothing on the newer waves of figures and vehicles yet. They've been slow to come to my area.

I've been in a bit of a money pinch so my focus has been on paying off BBTS meaning I've missed on making my runs to TRU and Target. Something tells me I've missed the Conquest and Rattler which is disappointing since the vehicles I have I'm hesitant to remove from the box due to them being shipped in action posses. Great to look at, hard to store once removed.

I have found thathttp://www.target.com has gotten really good about listing things in that are avaliable off-line as well as on-line just go there and type in that name then type in your zip code, city and state or something like that it will tell you closest store that has what your looking for. That is how I got my conquest and rattler.
