What? That doesn't make any sence, Optimus is one of the only movie characters that actully has a decent head design. He should be removeing their faces because they're so damn ugly but then that makes you wander why the twins still have faces. Bumblebee looks like he doesn't even have a face... maybe at one time he was uglier even than the twins.

I've thought about this as well, and came up with a simpler theory. You know, with Optimus being so protective of life in general. Since you either need to decapitate or extinguish a spark in a transformer to kill it, Optimus chooses the lesser, umm, evil. Kinda makes sense to me.

I know I know, compassion from a Bayformer sounds stupid, but still...

You'd think taking somebody's spark would be a major taboo, you know? Because dude, that's their soul. You don't mess with that. I know Prime did something similar to the Fallen, but given the fact that the Fallen was the reason for the war and everything, I think we can forgive him for that. A guy that evil doesn't deserve mercy.

Hi pps, im kinda new here, but i had to write in this topic

I kinda disagree with most here. And i would first disagree that if Optimus fights "like" decepticons then you dont know who is good and whos bad? I just cant agree with that, because sometimes your only way to beat the evil is to strike it like evil would strike you! And that does not make you evil! Moral, honor and ethics are things that makes you dont use those evil actions on good, but only at bad!

And i would agree with one here who said that the head is the most effective place to kill transformers, because the "brain" is there, so its logical to hit there first. Thats why Optimus is "king", because he knows best!

Sometimes its bad to over analyse things

sometimes things are just simple

And one last thing.. offtopic... "I love Optimus for what he stands for"

I get what you're saying. Very few actions taken are evil in and of themselves, especially in a life or death battle. It's the motivation behind them that makes them good or evil.
