Impressive graphics and such. Aside from that its not really that appealing to me.

Wow talking about seriously crappy. Whenever the frag did they figured that was a good idea?sniper_samurai wrote:Spoon wrote:Played the demo on my pc (yeah my pc is that awesome that it can play this game with all rings and bells turned on and still have a 40+ FPS at all times and such).

Watchout if your going to get the pc version Spoon, its bogged down with some really bad copy protection, similar to steam but far more restrictive. Unlike steam which lets you install the game on as many pcs as you like as long as only one pc is connected to steam at a time, the Bioshock installer keeps a record of the pcs you install it to and only allows it to be installed on 5 pcs and 5 reinstalls per pc(initailly 2 pcs and 3 reinstalls before massive complaining). Its annoying protection like this that almost makes you want to resort to piracy to avoid it.![]()

Well the gameplay is fun.
I was really impressed by the environments. The A.I. is freakin' sweet. The plot so far is awesome as hell. The little scenes explaining what the Plasmids are, are like the old 50's advertisements, which rock.
The game seems to be a perfect mix of everything. Fun gameplay, beautiful environments, easy controls, smart enemies.

I doubt it. Halo 3 wiped the floor with ever other pre-order, and it's not coming out till September. And, as good as it is, most casual 360 gamers are too obsessed with Gears of War, Halo, and Madden.
I'd probably get the PC version, though I'm not sure if I can run it. (I only have 512MBs of RAM, and Wikipedia says it needs at least a full 1GB.)

Well you can't really compare Halo and Bioshock.
Halo is a multiplayer marvel for the console, the story is great, but when you hear people talk about Halo/2/3 you hear them talking about the Multiplayer stuff.
Bioshock is a single-player masterpiece. It doesn't have the fancy multiplayer bell and whistles, it's just a single player marvel of a game. In all honesty, if Bioshock was multiplayer, I think that would make it less of a game.
