I won't post it up cuz yea... Im sure thats not allowed. But if any of you have heard about it, and read it, Im sure you know it's fake right?

[edit] Friend told me more about it. It is without a doubt a fake. lol. I wish people wouldn't pull **** like that. But I guess some hardcore fan-writers need to make themselves feel important.

yep. Didn't have some of the things that was said to have, **** happens that are totally out of the question. Too G1-ish. And overall, screams out FAKE.

The mother of all fake scripts, without a doubt, has to be Indiana Jones and the Sons of Darkness.

Any fake script that was so convincing that it supposedly had Lucasfilm scrambling in panic, has got to be amazing

This is what we KNOW, and this is coming from Seibertron.com news staff (i.e. myself) who has been following the story since this morning.

- It is still NOT CONFIRMED to be legit or not.

- It wasn't a script, it was a script treatment, in other words, a plot outline writers submit before they can get the green light to actually write a complete script.

- The treatment was 13 pages long, and gave a basic plot outline for Transformers 2 and revealed some of the new characters to appear.

- The treatment surfaced on the Don Murphy message boards.

- The thread on the DM boards containing the treatment has been deleted.

- It if is real, it contained MAJOR SPOILERS WHICH WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT POST HERE.

Remember, nothing is confirmed and this could still be a fake. Feel free to speculate about it, but until we get confirmation about anything it's just a rumour.

Im guessing the TF team have script decoys anyways. So that if a script is found, they won't know which is which. Or which one to hack.

I'm dead set on believing this is fake. So no qualms from me.

lol. From what my friend told me about it... I was NOT impressed. It sounded stupid. And obviously we've got some stupid people who like stupid scripts. :-?

My oh my is Murphy an idiot.

I understand why he could be upset (had it been real), but since it was debunked as fanwork (across all the boards) and the people know it now...

There's no reason to become that angry over fanfiction. Bannings? Screaming and cursing at people? Locking threads?
Talking about litigation (period)?

Yeah. He's the same Don Murphy we've all come to know. Not a thing's changed.

EDIT: Nevermind. I found it. (Well the gist of it) Wow. If that isn't hemorrhaging fanfiction, I don't know what is. I surely hope the real deal is better than that. >_< You don't go from reboot in the first chapter, then throw yourself back 20+ years to GEEWUN it. That's like a yo-yo effect of immense craptitude.

I enjoyed the tone of the script treatment, even though it was fake. As a potential sequel script? Not so much. Far too much fanwank. Seriously, Devastator showing up in the middle of the movie? Too much. Fake and lame.
