I ordered mine from BBTS too. I'm just bummed that we won't get enough to make a decent amount of the combined form before Chinese new years causes the three month gap. I would've preferred the Exgraver and then the complete lower body instead of a robot that can't stand on it's own.

I don't plan on shipping my PoL until the next two come in, so while I'm happy to have him, I won't actually have him until the new year.

Thoughts: I have my nitpicks, mostly that I wish they woulda found a way to hide the combining port pegs in alt mode, his bed doesn't dump, and his arms are more visible in alt mode than one might like...but those are pretty minor concessions considering what he does. It is another nice figure made out of quality material, though. And he has some inventive things going on with his transformation, mainly with the arms. Things to look out for would be when unfolding the legs for transformation to be mindful of the clearance...spreading the legs out a little creates more room to easily do so. I could see cracking or breakage of the foot area if someone wasn't paying it much attention and forced it. And I did connect Exgraver to one of his ports...VERY tight and secure. I was a little concerned pulling him apart because I didn't really have Exgraver in any real mode when I did so (I had him almost in bot mode), so finding a solid grip to pull them apart was actually a bit difficult.

Not very useful for those of us who don't have an account at TFW.

I hit ship on my PoL today.
It'll be a while since I use UPS ground, but I've got other stuff to keep me occupied.

If your Heavy Labor's leg(s) doesn't fall straight and flush, there's a super easy fix for it and a member at TFW translated the instructions:

And for those that don't have a TFW account:

All right, got him in hand. And the new crane for Scavenger too. Great stocky robot mode, cool dump truck and nice lower torso. We have a waist and good hip motion. \

TFC Toys has responded to the complaints about their recent release of Heavy Labor. For those that may not know, there is a gear in Heavy Labor's legs that is misaligned as well as a poorly-assembled joint that strips the gear should you try to move the leg.
TFC Toys has placed the following message on their Facebook Page
There are guides for fixing the problems ; but for the time being, it is this news member's recommendation that until the parts are received and distributed that you leave Heavy Labor either in his box, or as un-played with as possible.

TFC Toys wrote:We know many of our customers reported the problem of the hip joints of Heavylabor. For now we decided to remake the parts for all the Heavylabor customers.
However due to the time of model editing and the factory schedue, we may include the parts in the upcoming Dr. Crank or Structor.
Meanwhile in case of preventing the problem of the parts cannot reach to our customers like last time, we will have a better changing proposal.
For more detail please keep in touch to our future update, we will upload the picture of the new part soon.

Actually, you can play with it/transform it all you want...you just don't want to pose the top legs joints forward or back, which isn't necessary for transformation. You can widen and close the legs, those joints are fine, just not forward or back joints.

Mine is still sitting in my POL. While they seem to be having minor QC issues, TFC looks like they are handling it rather well.
I'm sure they couldn't account for ALL things that might go wrong with the figure....

I continue to be highly impressed with TFC Toys and their dedication to this project. You may not like the price. You may not like the look of them. But you really should give TFC respect for how they're handling such an ambitious piece.

Indeed. If the same were to ever happen with a Hasbro figure, they'd simply just shrug their collective shoulders.

It's great that they are addressing these concerns, all well and good. I don't deny that, but for the price being paid for this set, this is underwhelming.
This is TWO in a row that requires repairs and future shipped replacement parts. What's going to end that trend? And let's say it continues on...what happens when you get to robot #6 and there's no future offering to pack replacement parts in.
And please don't tell me it's impossible, because it quite clearly is.
This is why I'm not an early adopter anymore. I wait to see the outcome before I buy, now. Oh and one thing in Hasbro's favor... Yeah, they don't care about stuff like this, but at least you can find a replacement to make fixes with. Not too many shops are willing to replace a $100.00 figure for one stripped gear or things like that. BBTS is the exception to the norm. Give it time, they'll stop that too.

Well, at least they care enough to give out replacement parts. But on the other hand ... for $100 you'd think they could do better QC. Seriously, guys didn't this come up at the prototype stage?
Still compare this to some of HasTak's MPs and I gotta say TFC treats you better.

Yeah it is good to hear that TFC is looking to correct the problems and do right by the customers/fans. BUT, it is some what discouraging that for something that cost so f*cking much for those that bought the current available figs that QC should have been assured and a top priority. I hope MakeToys is taking some good notes...'nuff said!

This is one of the reasons i was against 3rd party stuff .I not going to bad mouth them again
(i leaned my lesson ) ,but really if you are paying the high cost ,you should get better quality than ones from Hasbro .Now i am hearing Heavy Labor also looks bad in Dumb Truck mode (you can see his arms ?? ) not a big deal to me ,but i don't own him ,you guys do .But buyer beware .At least Hasbro is a company that, maybe not perfect ,but if you have a problem they try there best ,and does not close shop if the cost of repairs/replacements gets to high .
