true, but you've got to consider what he put Hiro through: first he was his childhood hero, then he betrayed him, killed his father, and was about to kill everyone in the world. Adam definitely had it coming.

i was a little disappointed with last nights episode. sylar is back (who didn't expect that? 8-| ) and we've now had yet another person who was supposedly dead be healed by claire. i will bet money that nathan won't stay dead, either. still, it's a shame we're going to have to wait indefinitely for the next chapter. :-(

Well, he did get rid of him without killing him.

Overall, Volume Two was pretty weak. There were a lot of things that just went nowhere and the writing seemed very inconsistent.

I am wondering if it's going to become a theme throughout the series that Nathan is apparently killed at the end of each volume only to pop up alive right away in the next one. Hopefully, he isn't dead or we'll have to deal with Peter's whiny "I miss my brother. I wish he were here. I can't do this without him. He'd know what to do." for at least 10 episodes.

I think he may stay dead. His mom was ok with it and said it needed to be done or else he would have outed them all. The way I see it is now Peter will have a whole new goal in life. First go after the killer and then use his powers to just utterly destroy the company one by one.

Also what about Claire, she gets one dad back only to lose her real father. Even though he wasnt around her that much it would still have an impact.

Well, we've seen how far he takes his goals considering he just kind of forgot about his girlfriend that he was supposedly trying to save the whole time. Did he just assume the Back to the Future "everything will change around her" theory would work and he'd just hook up with her when he catches up to her? And why didn't he go nuts and zap eveybody in the room so Nathan's shooter wouldn't get away? And why did he waste so much time prying the vault door open when he could have just walked through it? And why does he just keep getting stupider? Are all the powers starting to push the intelligence out of his brain as he absorbs them? If Nathan is really dead I hope it somehow inspires Peter to be the character that he should be.

The whole "destroy the virus" storyline for him was to save her so that she did not die of it, granted she would still be in the future, but if the virus isn't released then the future would change. Peter is a very nieve character and has been from the start, he sees the "good" in people and feels their stated intentions are true. I think Peter will be a little bit more focused now.

Since we're all talking about Heroes dream, I keep having this reoccurring one where I am Sylar.

Think it all fits in with the dreams I've been having all my life where I gain some power and get hunted for it, and turn evil.

I'd have telekenetics, the ability to change how I looked, invisibility. and ummm... the ability to make stones out of thin air.

On the subject, you all think Sylar is going to be able to keep Candice's power since he took it when he had the virus?

The powers are all still there, he just couldnt access it so he may have just studied it so he can make changes to his when he got his powers back.

Yeah, you'd think that she would have been erased along with the future after he prevented it by destroying the virus. Time travel is so muddled.

Plus, this whole ordeal with Adam would have been avoided if Peter had just read his mind.

Okay, the point I'm tying to make about this is, if that future no longer exists, then neither should she. The whole "the future will change around her" theory just doesn't make any sense. Not that all of the other time travel theories on this show have but that one just annoys me to no end.

Everything gets mucked when you do future travel storylines, the past is ok because you know what will happen with noninterference and if you change something you know that there may be an effect. With the future you dont know what will happen if you change this or that. Look at it this way....They changed the 5 years future from happening and then 93% of the population died, if they changed that what will happen now, will the catastrophes continue on a grander scale? Perhap time has a self correcting feature to it. One way or another a tragedy will happen in the future for these characters are they just delaying the inevitable and perhaps making the situation worse for themselves.

Hmm, I didn't think about the time-travel stuff in depth. So by destroying the virus, Peter has just blinked his girlfriend out of existence? Or perhaps she lives in an alternate reality? Gah, it's probably best left to see how it pans out.

I wish they had shown more of a Hiro/Kensei struggle, but that really is a very frightning way to end that storyline, though I don't know why, but it borders almost on dark humor(probably cause Hiro's music theme is light-hearted, and it played before the revalation). So we know Adam can survive indefinitely under most circumstances, but can he survive in an enviroment completely devoid of food/air/water? I think Hiro may have left him to a fate far worse than being shot through the head, or chopping his head off, cause Adam will probably die, but it'll be a very slow, and painful death(much like the Sarlacc Pit).

Micah's cousin storyline, still dumb in my opinion. Could they not have come up with a better way to leave Nikki in an "unknown" situation? That's really my only complaint on the ending, everything else was solid.

And why did he waste so much time prying the vault door open when he could have just walked through it?

 Good point! But I guess they had to make everything more dramatic.

Peter has so much wasted potential. He's the most powerful character, yet Sylar almost successfully beat him at least twice in Season 1, and he was a tool this season, barely thinking for himself.

Not really because most if not all episodes were finalized by the time the strike happened. I believe it was all filmed just effects and editing were left.

Well, they were still rushed to get everything written out before the strike began. As such they really didn't think things through like they had time to do throughout season 1.

Again I don't think thats really the case. They started writing season 2 even before season 1 was over. Filming began in May or June I believe for the September start. The reason things seemed so rushed is that they always had this episode in mind as the fall finale and Tim Kring admitted that he made mistakes in the pacing of the first part of the season and some storylines(Reveal of the virus, Hiro in the past) were drawn out over too many episodes. Therefore they had to bring this arc to a close with a faster pace. Also one more thing to take into consideration this season is 2 volumes (Origins, and Villains) whereas season 1 was only 1 volume (Genesis)
