I agree with the quality over quantity argument, I can't say that I'm a big fan of most of the TF series that are out now or most cartoons for that matter. I grew up with Thundercats, Silver Hawks, Jace and the Wheeled Warriors, Exo Squad and they just dont make cartoons like that anymore. Sure the toys are better crafted now but I liked being able to transform a toy without the manual or to be able to play with them because right now all of my new ones are on display in my Curio

Another reason why I'm not jealous of today's kids: I know that when my friends play with my toys they'll be cautious enough to not break them.

Yes "LIEGELAND" is in the design stages...

See it's actualy safe cause the blades on backwards. I actualy wanted to do it the right way and pipe the drippings straight to the food court, but you know how it is with FDA regulations and all :-x

Now I gotta find a way to pay for meat, but I hear I can get that Mad Cow stuff for cheap...

1985 was voted best year for toys, but that might have been trumped recently. I got to see the original series growing up. My mom taped them off WB from Chicago, and I still have those tapes twenty years later! (they even work, despite what people said about video tape deteriorating) I was also an only child, so my toys only wore out over time, instead of breaking, and I almost never lost pieces. I do feel things were better back then, but it depends on your parents.

Then, you had toys and cartoons (mostly after school and on Saturday mornings); other than that, you had to spend a lot of time outside, getting exercise and fresh air. Of course, I did get some video games. The Nintendo came out when I was 8. These days, there's so much to do (with more toys and video games, the internet, and collectible cards). I have to take walks just to get fresh air and clear my head.

Why?...I'm almost forty..age.... . Anywho,children these days..to
a degree..miss what we had. Mechs,physical..something yas needed imagination for. Don't get me wrong..not knocking cg,vids..love em
too,but when things are just there,no mystery..in some cases.

There's positives.... . My kids are 3 13...girls. They have all g1,bit
joe..robo...star......they seem to look back and want simple bits too.
not all new is good,not all old is bad....
