I fully expect new mold deluxes,voyagers,for Generations in 2012,since DOTM stoped making new molds.

From all accounts The DOTM Toy line will cease to make anymore new molds starting in january 2012.

Since Generations/classics was such a popular money maker in the past. it's a guarantee it'll return making new molds in 2012. especially with DOTM gone in 2012 & TF Prime taking it's place in 2012 as the main toy line.

My guess is that around june 2012,we'll see a few new mold generations toys in retail stores in america. like new molds generations,scouts, deluxes,voyagers & maybe a few new molds leader sized toys. dare I dream a new mold supreme sized generations toy in 2012

Since DOTM will be gone in 2012,It's the perfect time to create new molds leader sized toys for the generations toy line in 2012.

I realize Classics/Generations in 2012 has never received any leader sized new molds in the past. but with DOTM Gone/cancelled in 2012 & the live action movies on hiatus for a while. it's the perfect time to release new molds leader sized toys for generations in 2012.

Here's my short list of what I want/expect to see in 2012 for the Generations new molds toys:

Scouts/Basics:
1- All the scramble city styled limbs combiners.
2- 6 Constructicons that merge to form devestator.
3- all 3 1985 insecticons.

Deluxes:
1- All the scramble city combiners core leaders
2- 4,1986 Predacons

Voyagers:
1- Razorclaw that combines to form predaking with the other 4 deluxe sized predacons.
2- Double dealer
3- Horrorcon Apeface
4- horrorcon-snap dragon
5- tripple changer springer
6- Victoryleo
7- Starsabre,both victory & starsabre combine to form victorysabre
8- 1985 styled shockwave with a space gun alt mode.
9 & 10,Overlord,2 voyagers,a tank & jet that either transform into individual animals or robot modes,then they'd combine to form a super robot called Overlord.

Leaders:
1- 1986 Styled galavatron with a laser canon alt mode.
2- Tripple changer blitzwing
3- Tidalwave or tripple changer Broadside.
4- Trypticon that transform from a T-REX,then into a robot mode,then splits down the middle to form a attack base/city.
5-Metroplex

Supremes:
1-Fort max
2-Omega supreme,G-1 styled.

While I share your enthusiastic feelings toward the Classics line, I don't think the Movie-verse line will come to an end in January. From what I understand, the DOTM line will turn into the Movie Trilogy line. That's based on the fact that we're getting a repaint of DOTM Que (Wheeljack) and a new Bumblebee and repaint of Soundwave under that line in 2012. Not much else has been revealed for the Movie Trilogy line, but I think it's open to speculation as to whether we'll finally get DOTM Mirage and the rumored Leader Shockwave and Megatron under this line.

That's a pretty ballsy assumption. I mean, fans are clamoring for a transformable iteration of DOTM Mirage since his on screen appearance. Plus, there have been rumblings of Leader Class versions of Megatron and Shockwave for months now. I highly doubt the line will consist of nothing but repaints and remolds. Last time an entire line consisted of nothing but repaints and remolds was the Universe 1.0 line which was basically just a filler line. I highly doubt Hasbro would relegate one of their best selling Transformer lines to being made up of nothing but repaints of remolds.

This would be a good lineup for the new generations line. But we all know that it won't happen

Like RHA said,That was only a temporary thing. because the DOTM toys were being created & took up the lions share of the talent,resources & man power.

RTS was obviously a clever way for hasbro to slip in a bunch of classics/generations molds in the ROTF movie sub lines. RTS hasbro marketed as a sub line extension of the ROTF movie verse line to fool retailers into ordering generations new molds/repaints in higher volume units.

My solid guesses are the DOTM movie verse line will stop making new molds in february 2012. leaving TF Prime & Generations as two TF toy lines for 2012 thru 2013.

Generations will most likely release a bunch of new molds deluxes & voyagers in june 2012.

I think we'll probably hear about some more molds at Botcon 2012. But I do think we will get at least a few new Classics styled figures, either as Generations, RTS, or some other name. I hope we get at least one new voyager Classics-style figure, but I really doubt we'll get any leaders.

-I know we got a repaint Springer and Hasbro doesn't like to duplicate on the Classics line, but Springer is a somewhat major character and deserves a

I think we'll find out some valuable TF new molds info for TF Prime & Generations info sooner than botcon 2012. my guess is hasbro's NYC toyfair in februrary 2012 will reveal tons of TF 2012 new molds toys info/pics.

The prime cartoon will continue and so will the toys so for sure we will see prime toys for a good while.. and the movie trilogy line will continue until the fall of cybertron game comes out then they are gonnna make toys out of them like they hinted??? which the game comes out next December i believe? maybe hopefully they will toss some classic toys in that line which im looking forward to as well... love the prime toys tooooo by the way

Ever since the TFCC announced Runabout and Runamuck, who have been on my want list for at least 3 years, I have nothing else that I'm aggressively wishing for anymore. So that means I'll be happy to get whatever Hasbro decides to put into the Generations line of figures.
