This story is on how some of the Transformers where active after the Ark crashed during the dinosaur era through the time of the era of Da Vinci, instead of in stasis, also it shows what effects this would have.

Pre-modern era modes ('clean' techno-organic alt modes, not 'messy' like the BW ones.):

Autobots:

Optimus Prime- T-rex
Warpath- Ankylosaurus
Jazz- Dolphin
Blaster- Elephant
Jetfire- Pterosaur
Broadside- (oversized) Kronosaur
Hound- Gorgonopsid
Ratchet- Rhinoceros (...fitting ain't it)
Arcee- Kangaroo
Moonracer- Brachiosaurus
Bumblebee- Horse
Deploy- Diplodocus

Decepticons:

Megatron- Spinosaurus
Soundwave- Orca
Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp- Haast's Eagle (big freaking bird)
Warzone- (oversized) Megalodon
Shockwave- Elasmosaur
Slipstream- Humpback Whale
Outpost- Megalania (look it up...)
Hook- Giraffe
Bonecrusher- Saltwater Crocodile
DeepSix- Giant Squid

Just a little addition to the crew:

The Primitives (a group of Autobots and Decepticons who gave into their animal modes nature):

Dinobots:
Grimlock- Gigantosaurus
Slag- Triceratops
Snarl- Stegosaurus
Swoop-Hatzegotpteryx (look it up, its the size, supposedly, of a giraffe when standing on all fours)
Sludge- Supersaurus

Constructicons:
Scrapper- Wildebeest
Mixmaster- Hippopotamus
Scavenger- Ostrich (Devastator looks utterly ridiculous)
Longhaul- Camel

Others:
Ultra Magnus- Sperm Whale (Hey at least he's not a repaint...)
Sunstorm- (A flaming) Haast's Eagle
Elita1- T-Rex
Barricade & Prowl- Utahraptors (Jurassic Park...with robots)
Sunstreaker & Sideswipe- Baryonyx
Demolisher & Rampage- Graboids (Because we totally need a Tremors/Transformers crossover, also not Constructicons)

alt modes, How about Optimus saves divinche and he shows the autobots his notepades, makeing there alt modes Prime, a spinscrew helicopter,

I was thinking Prime could be the (http://www.museoscienza.org/english/leo ... perone.asp) and Megatron could be the Giant Crossbow.

Though Ironhide totally fits the Pyramid Tank, in the series there will be multiple Bots and Cons with the same Alts but different transformation styles.

galeons and schooners where abundant then as wer carts although i dont know about horses and cybertronians
wouldn't megatron screw things up and retain his cybertronian form? seems his m.o

This is based in an alternate G1-verse where Megs has more sense when it comes to the benefits of blending in, not the Movie or Prime era where Megs is a moron for keeping his Cybertronian form while on Earth.

Lol. its been ages since I've got around to updating threads, being in college does that to you.

Don't worry about it I like getting pointers. WW1 or WW2 Transformers would be mostly war vehicles due to the conditions though it depends on what continent they are on.

All of these sound amazing! Except for the Bee I think that you should make him something smaller like maybe a giant rat, like Rattrap! Slipstream should be a false killer whale, a humpback does not fit a female Con.

I think Humpbacks are very graceful so to me it fits, blame my older sister she loves the damn things and made me place them in the "feminine" category.

It also fits the name very well.
