Oh sorry, Im talking about the limited edition preview Optimus prime from dark of the moon. I dont think its really that limited though, cause there were a lot of them.

I picked up one of those preview DOTM Primes from TRU yesterday. I think the only reason I did was because I wanted something new and I have pretty much given up on what I want showing up there.

the lady checking me out asked me if I found what I was looking for, told her "no, but I rarely do here anyways" lol

WM South has a few Battle Op's BB on clearance for $30...I picked one up for that price. BBTS let me know my Wheeljack, TC and Warpath are on the way too.

also my TF United Frenzy Rumble 2 pack was to be in stock today from toyarena and I haven't heard squat from them either.

on another note, my hope that Easter would bring the newer waves was a crushed yesterday when I went to WM west and noticed a new end cap display FULL of figs! I eagerly went to it only to find it crammed with the last wave of HFTD and some random Gen figs (blurr, red alert, dirge...blah blah) what the ****!? :BOOM:

Im beginning to wonder if the reason we haven't seen any RTS figs is because the packaging is near identical to the shelfwarming HFTD figs.

It sucks not to see any new sightings here anymore. :-(

I went to Meijer to get some diapers and by habit I checked out the toy aisle, not really expecting much new as Meijer usually brings disappointment but I figured what the hell, at least Ill get my kid some Hot Wheels :grin:

I was floored to see the rest of the aisle pretty much fully stocked yet the TF section was BARE! there were 2 WFC Primes and a Leader Bumblebee, that was it! There was a person stocking so I asked what was going on with the TFs and if they were getting ready for the newer waves. She told me there weren't getting anymore and were waiting for the movie toys to come out. I just don't get it, why the hell wont stores stock these newer Gen and RTS waves??!?

I have a feeling this might be going on with other stores as well.

I'm getting discouraged too FFOE. I go week after week to the same haunts you do, and outside of a once in a while deal, I don't ever see any large quantities of anything new, like the pics of those well stocked stores you see here. Must be nice to live somewhere that devotes that much into their Transformers display. I take it you don't do much at Clems with them either.?

With gas as high as it is, it's cheaper in the long run for me to order it than go chasing around town. I do miss that thrill of the hunt though, I admit. That BOBB I got I thought was a good deal @ $30, but no way would I of paid $60, I'm just not that big of a BB fan.

only thing at Clem's that we sell TF related is the comics, we also do have a Autobot and Decepticon hat :lol:

Ive talked TF's with some customers but no one is really into it like we are :lol:

"RadioBoomer" has come in a couple times though, he shares our plastic addiction :grin:

radioboomer might make it in tonight, we're not quite sure what we're doing. I did pull the trigger on Lugnut, Deep Dive, Strafe and Grapple on Hasbro Toy Shop yesterday. They popped up and with 20% off, I ended up paying about 17 per figure, cheaper than what I could find in stores, if I ever find them. Also grabbed the legends 4 pack. In terms of finding stuff in stores...not a thing!

Thats an awesome deal, I used the same discount for a Wreck-gar that was "in stock" but after days of not hearing anything from the site about it I logged in to find my order status was "backstocked" :BOOM:

Has anyone ever seen a Lugnut in the wild locally? Sunday I was in TRU, and they didn't even have a single reveal the shield except for the hot rod/cyclonus pack. I did get a chance to check out Intergalactic Toys on North Anthony though. It's still pretty small, but the owner is super nice. All in all it's a pretty awesome place to check out.

I ended up picking up a couple figures mostly just because I like to support local. His prices were pretty decent especially since your not paying shipping. I'll have to keep an eye out for the crackalisious candy next time I'm in there.

Finally got a Wreck-gar (ebay) and my United Frenzy/Rumble 2 pack came in from Toy Arena :KREMZEEK:

Also got the 3rd member of my G1 Monsterbot collection, Grotesque! although he wingless and weaponless #-o

Anyone have those parts for sell or trade?

Good catches FFOE...I've been trying to get the United set myself but it's sold out everywhere. Been trying e-bay for Wreck-Gar and Perceptor, no deals yet. I do have the set p/o from BBTS,with OP and BB. Have to see which one comes in first.

Do you have F/R out yet? If so, what do you think..?

After i finally accepted we were screwed in getting stuff in stores I aggressively began looking for everything I needed online. I pre ordered F/R in a quickness after noticing everyone except toy area was sold out. I got Wreckgar for like 26 shipped, decently priced believe me Ive looked. and Perceptor from HTS.

I haven't opened F/R yet and I'm actually conflicted whether to or not. by the looks of it hes quite rare and skyrocketing in price. besides....I have nowhere to display them :lol:

Awww..man. Don't pay the scalpers on the west coast. We will get product here too. Although, the Reveal the Shield line was clearanced out at Meijer. Im starting to wonder if we will not see the 2nd wave because of the movie line coming. Who knows?

Anyone seen any 2nd wave in Indiana? I'm starting to finally see Scourge and Kup just this week. I'm not really worried about seeing Wheeljack, Thundercracker, and any of the other genrations unreleased at this point, but unsure of the reveal stuff.

?? at this point they are no longer scalpers but facilitators, and i am grateful for them. they are doing more for me than my local distributers
