I come off saying it was terrible in two ways. 1. I have studied the writing process, and am writing something myself. I recognize bad and lazy writing when I see it, and this movie had it. 2. I have seen lots of movies in my time, and this movie did not measure up to very many of them.

Wow, I should grow up because I thought the Transformers movie was lame. That's a new one. I'm 27. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that's older than you, but I could be wrong. Either way, it seems the older people get who I talk about the movie to, the less they liked it. So grow up what?
And I'm only nitpicking because the topic came up about why it was a bad movie. Normally I'm content to say "it was okay I guess", but hey, the topic came up.

Oh yeh a 80 foot robot turns into a gun. Thats cartoon not real life like this movie was focusing on. Bottom line.
That's not what we're complaining about here. I applaud the changes that were made to the mythos in the name of realism.
Doesn't change the fact that the writing was lame.

Exactly. If you don't like something, you must be bad.

BumbleBee217 wrote:Be happy for the fact that your love for TF was made into a blockbuster movie from a great director instead of complaining like spoiled little brat children.
Oh okay. I'll just be thankful for something, just because it happened. Right I forgot. Blockbusters are the pinnacle of greatness and Hollywood is sacred and cannot be doubted. I should be grateful and get down on my knees for everything they do.
Actually, human beings are flawed creatures and it's very possible for someone to make crap even though they're granted a budget and millions of dollars in profits.
You grow up kid. I did not care for the movie. I've explained why and you don't have to agree. I wouldn't have either, when I was in high school.
