Just got home from seeing and im mixed about it. For and action movie it kicked ass but i dont like how the battles were so short and one sided. I will see it again just to see if i missed anything but it was good. Could've been better. I still hate the way some of the bots look though and that Ratchet sounds like Kup. I give it an 8 out of 10.

Good to see some positive feedback. :)

Anyone highly skeptical about the film that ended up enjoying it?

I thought Ratchet also sounded like Kup. I saw the original TF movie on opening day and I had to see this one on opening day. The special effects were mind blowing. I heard so many cheers and clapping through the movie it was like watching your favorite sports team. It was awesome!

LOVED it. Blew my mind. I think I was more forgiving of the "thin" plot because I was into the prequel books, both comics and books. Can't wait to see it again.

I thought it would be decent but not spectacular. It was, in fact, a thrill ride.

Yeah same here. The theater was packed with transfans. It was great. But half way through the movie cut out. It was when Prime was at sams house after the lights went out. We were all in an uproar. I think there was a power surge. Evrey thing shut down then the lights came on for no reason. They got it running again after a bit but we missed a little. i think to stave off a riot they handed out free tickets. So i get to see it again for free. Ironhide was great. They did him right.Other than the color. Barricade was frakin sick. He's still my favorite. That voice was what i imagend. Bumblebee didnt sound that good. The voice didnt fit. And what was up with the Brawl not haveing his name? Megatron was Megs but he still looks like a walking scrap pile. It was a good movie but i hope the next one is better. And who else thinks Boncrusher's still alive?

as far as summer action movies go, it was by far the best thing i've ever seen. on the other hand i'm still a little unsure about the story and dialouge etc. but it is pretty spectacular.

It was great! I'm glad that I didn't judge the movie based on still shots of the TFs. Seeing them move, especially Frenzy, totally sold me. I can't wait to see it again...and again....

I'm so glad that Peter Cullen voiced Prime. He did a tremendous job!

Also, as much as I love G1, I'm glad they omitted the transformation sound effect. I don't think it would've fit well.

There were lots of laughs, and lots of positive chatter that I overheard on the way out of the theatre.

The G1 sound was in it. when Blackout transformed for the first time and when the cell phone came to life. I think i heard it a few other times. And most of the metal clang sounded like it as well. So it wasnt omitted. And i think it would've fit. Becase it did in the few scenes it was in.

They weren't that short in fact there was action almost throughout the whole movie... I loved it, reckon it rocks my socks.
