DTR69 wrote:Please finish your sentence. Apple sucks .... air through the vents at the front over dual 6core processors [x12] aswell as beeing liquid cooled, with 32gb of ram and will keep doing so for a good number of years while still not needing to be upgraded.
DTR69 wrote:Apart from being the finest hardware on the market, it's the software and OS that makes apple what it is. Apple is not the iphone and the ipod which most people associate it with.
DTR69 wrote: but since thats what people seem to be bothered about, here's the killer bit of info for you. iOS is a stripped down version of apples osX [it's desktop operating system]
DTR69 wrote:for those who don't know, osX is the envy of microsoft, it is the finest OS on the planet, it makes using a computer fun and enjoyable, it's not a chore or hard work.
DTR69 wrote:I feel sorry for windows users, you really are using poorly designed software, I mean, why is everything so complicated,
DTR69 wrote: why are your drives called weird names,
DTR69 wrote: and why is getting from a to b made more difficult for no reason.
DTR69 wrote: Apple has made things so easy, and they come up with all the ideas that windows and others copy, the way windows looks is a diluted version of osX. The concept of floating windows is actualy an Apple invention anyway.
DTR69 wrote: Why don't you give up virus's poor performance,
DTR69 wrote:incompatible software and hardware,
DTR69 wrote:Do not try and argue against apple superior user experience, even microsoft admit apple is what they aim to be like. Don't judge pple on it's superior iPhone, it's more than that.
DTR69 wrote: And it's not my opinion about apple being OSX being better it is actually better.
DTR69 wrote: When microsoft wrote the brief for WIndows 7 they actualy stated, to make it more like osX. There have been several leaked documents where microsoft have more or less stated they are striving o be more like osX.
DTR69 wrote:Windows is clumsy, and by it's very nature of so many companies all doing different things, as opposed to apple's in house hardware and os's mapped out harmonious vision to see why an apple experience is far superior.
DTR69 wrote:it's onl recently windows have started to flow better, and you may have been lucky, but in the past, plug and play on windows wasn't possible, you always needed to install drivers, and due to so many mix and match configurations so many people have had problems.

Care to give me some proof that OSX is actually better? The number of Windows machines vs OSX don't seem to support your position...DTR69 wrote: When microsoft wrote the brief for WIndows 7 they actualy stated, to make it more like osX. I believe that the proprietary nature of Apples devices are their biggest downfall. They are free to put a huge profit margin onto the price tag simply because we have no other choice. Compare the price of a MacBook to a similarly equipped HP or Dell...
Apple is a very enclosed ecosystem. While Apple is busy changing the screw patterns on every iPhone that comes in to be serviced, Microsoft is giving 'jailbreaking" teams WP7 devices and helping them create a beneficial homebrew community.DTR69 wrote:it's onl recently windows have started to flow better, and you may have been lucky, but in the past, plug and play on windows wasn't possible, you always needed to install drivers, and due to so many mix and match configurations so many people have had problems.
In the past, plug and play wasn't possible on any OS...
Now, I'm not trying to bash Apple, just trying to change people's poor impressions of Microsoft and Windows. I am actually very happy that Apple is making a dent in the PC market. We now have two comparable, yet distinct computing ecosystems to choose from. This competition breeds better technology, and at lower prices.
DTR69 wrote:See your impression is skewed aswell. I don't want to sound like I'm just oppossing all your points for the sake of it. This may sound weird but i don't want apple to make a huge dent becuase, Apple doesn't attract alot of virus makers, and if apple get a large market share, it will be worth hackers to invest time creating software to victimise apple users. Also some people have beef with microsoft so intentionaly target windows.
DTR69 wrote:The number of windows vs osx, is for a reason. I.T departments kit out offices with there hardware and software, a Windows enviroment, means they are needed, if an office was run on osX they wouldn't need an I.T department or if they did it would be a much more reduced department.
DTR69 wrote:simple on a mac, I have been shocked out how complicated things such as formatting a drive is, the way things are organised, the actual design and look, it's been a nightmare when you are used to ease and simplicity.
DTR69 wrote:The price is another thing peple are wrong about. When you look at a pc for 300 compared to an apple that cost 1,300, you might think whats going on, but look at the spec and then you will see why. Apple machines can run every operating system that you want, they also run top of the range hardware,
DTR69 wrote:I have been running my dual 2ghz g5 for arund 5years and It still does what I need it to do with up to date software. Windows set ups need upgrading far more often, simply becuase they were inadequate in the first place.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
