Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Moonbase2 wrote:Isn't a Euro like $1.15? I know it changes a bit. I think it wasn't a bad investment, just as long as they are cared for. I saw an Enterprise Christmas ornament for $25 last year!

Moonbase2 wrote:Can you take a pic with them lit up and a litle less light? I've never seen those before. I really wanted that stupid little ornament but $25 is quite a bit of money for one. Still wondering how your money is worth more, yet things are more expensive for you.

And the Pound beats everything to dust...it's pretty much
£1 = $2
Moonbase2 wrote:Definitely, nobody can touch the pound. I'd love to visit England one day but it'd cost me an arm and a leg. My grammy visited a while back and had a good time but she's pretty wealthy. When we're a bit older and after a couple businesses and an inheritence or two, we'll take the fam out to the UK for vacation. My hubby knows more about British history than most Brits probably do (unless you guys are better about that than Americans are. In German class a student actually asked "which side were the SS on?" D'oh!)
Oh, and I love those Star Trek things.

Yeah, the world economy is complex and crazzy!
I went to Germany a few years ago and it was my favourite vacation yet. I only lost $.25 on the dollar.
I went to the UK two years ago(Got married in Scotland). Had a great time, but lost $.50 on the dollar, that really sucked. Luckily we had a place to crash for a week. If we would have had to pay for lodging for the two weeks we were there, we would have been too poor to enjoy the honeymoon.
Went to Ontario, CA, last year. We were up $.05 on the dollar. Damn the Canucks are catching up to us. They said it sucked, cause it's not that much cheaper than it used to be.
Italy's on the plate for next year. I haven't been watching the Euro vs the Dollar, but I guess that I should to get the best X-fer rate.
